So far basketball is a team game, your Nephew lost because he cant be a team player.
Better team won and better player went to the short bus.
Also you make it sound like 33 points its an outstanding accomplishment, Embiid did the same.
So by ur logic, everytime Duncan lost, it was because he couldn't be a team player

Man he sure is showing up big time in the playoffs. Makes it extra sweet that his new team is letting him down so much.

And I worry about his degenerative condition tbh, he's playing 36 mpg with a high usage rate and not resting any games. He could be doing long term permanent damage to his knees or quads or tendons whatever it was.
But don't u guys say his injury is fake? Which is it?

Don't be naive. His season inToronto, when it ends, really just marks the culmination of his final (contract) year with the Spurs. And he screwed over this franchise and what he did likely would have kneecapped most any other team in the League. As it is, we've had two subpar years (by Spurs standards, of course) and are poised for a nice rebound next year. Meanwhile as Bill mentioned above, seeing how it plays out in Toronto is the final act of the trade. It puts a stamp on the trade as either successful or not. If at the end of the day Toronto has a worse regular season and an equal exit in the playoffs, all while giving us a first rounder and our starting center and second best player, and they are left with nothing, that is certainly going to registerwith fans here. Don't be such a playerfan and pull your head out of your ass.

After he leaves Toronto and goes home, there will likely be one more year of passing interest in his fate, but then should start fading from there on for most of this fanbase. It won't for me though. That mother er put the equivalent of a smear campaign and hit job on my team. I ain't ever gonna forget that.
Bro... As raptors fans see it, they are happy regardless to be rid of DeRozan, Kawhi or no Kawhi

He put a smear job on the spurs? I saw it the complete opposite... No one ever came out publicly from Kawhi's camp... Only the Spurs... Down to David Robinson and Bruce bowen were smearing him

I wonder if Kawhi's heavy iso game ninja mind s the other players to just stand on the court, watch Kawhi and do nothing? Then when he's off, they are still in character?
What was their excuse all prior years? Kawhi was in their heads from San Antonio?

Lol. Publicly, you say, like no one was going to notice.

And I see you have zero pushback on my assertion he put the equivalent of a hit job on us by not publicly, lol, demanding a trade to LA knowing full damn well what that would do to his trade value. Nevermind all the BS shade thrown at PATFO for being too controlling and mean.

Have you ever wondered to yourself why you see it differently than most everyone else on this board? Why you are so willing to grant him a pass for not publicly, lol, doing everything in his power to destroy a franchise?

And why do you hate LMA as much as you do? It's almost like you hold him responsible for Kawhi's immaturity and ensuing departure. In case you haven't been paying attention, he's pretty much been unfairly saddled with carrying this team on his own for the past two seasons.

Good for Raptors fans. And to clarify, they are going to be "no Kawhi" after 2 more losses. Meanwhile, they are also going to be without a 1st round pick, a center ( o Mr. Poeltl), unless they want to give a bloated contract to Gasol. And they'll also need to pay Lowry, assuming they want to keep him, along with Green and Gasol. Or do they just go rebuild? So yeah, that seemingly worked out really well for them, huh?

Meanwhile Sours have starting center locked up, a first round pick, and an overpaid but good scorer at 29 years old. You sure you aren't a Raptors fan?

They may also be without a GM as well. Talk of Washington the Toronto GM (however you spell his name) and he might be interested in the job as well. Wife's family is from the area and his Africa BBall / without borders work as well.

Unfortunately, I still think the Raptors win this series, but game 4 will clearly decide it. For now . . .

At another team with s bag as the best player (not led) in the midst of collapsing in a series they were favored in. I don't care if Mr. Midrange Pullup hits them them at a 90% clip, his inability to make his teammates better and refusal to push himself to the limit minute wise is once again costing his team. But as usual, I'm sure he'll receive none of the blame.

At the media, who gushed over this organization relentlessly and s bag specifically and loved ramming it down Spurs fans throats, now in mourning that their latest pet could be on the verge of imploding.

At overwhelmed, ah shucks, no presence Nurse, making blatant and repeated rotational and match-ups mistakes . . . if he were black, he'd be getting roasted.

At insecure, inferior complex Raptors fans and broadcasters, who pin every loss on officiating.

In his attempt to get away from one useless Gasol he ended up with another just as useless. Can og Gasol somehow end his career in a Clippers uniform or Masai somehow convince J.West and the Clippers to get Mark there.
We need a Gasol to haunt nephew at all times.

    - Yeah Raps fans are disgusting with the officiating blaming. Its worse than spur fans.

    - His on and off numbers is ridiculous though. It makes sense to play him 42+ minutes. When Kawhi is on the court the Raps have outplayed the sixers. They've just been taking advantage of nurse Delusional 2PG lineup plus powell at 6'4 as an SF.

    - I don't get why its so hard to play him 42+. Sub him out at the end of the first. The Rest between quarters, and two minute from the 12 minutes of the second is almost 10 minutes in real time minutes.

He really should be playing 44. If Kawhi wants to play the he wants to play. He needs to play 44+

His uncle might have stipulations that he is not play those kinds of minutes under any cir stances and if that's not the case, then Load Management simply let it be known that he is NOT to play those minutes whatsoever.

Lmao. No one said he was never injured. We all know he had degenerative tendonosis in his quad. The issue is that he made up some other bull injury when spurs knew he had this issue and would always have to deal with quad pain. He just used it as an excuse to bail. Get off his already

Everything u are saying Kawhi said is alleged... He never shaded the Spurs... All the shade we KNOW of came from the Spurs to him... Secondly LMA isn't a victim... He is a player that demanded a trade after a winning season in which he played horribly... Demanded a trade and didn't give a reason and never spoke to anyone about it until Pop realized no one wanted him and the o lyrics alternative was to keep him... He isn't a victim here

Demar is a career net negative player... The raps are HAPPY to get rid of him for nothing... And ur happy to have him? Be prepared for seasons of disappointment with no end in sight... Rap fans are at least hopeful for the rebuild... We are stuck with two old guys who are antiquated, have bad at udes, and don't wanna be here

You're a real s bag. This dude lost the OKC series getting destroyed by Durant in the second half of game 4. How about getting locked by Andre Roberson n game 2 while LA was balling. I'm not going to bring up the last 4 games of the Clippers series when he got shut down by Matt Barnes.

Kawhi was not the definite first option in either year... Also we lost because of coaching in both series... U really need to choose it arguments better because we lost a ton of series we were favored in with Duncan as our guy... But no one blamed him

Nah he was the clear cut first option. If not then why is Kawhi considered so great then if he only had one season before this one as a lead dog. That year coming off a Finals MVP he was looked at as the teams best player but he choked so you want to say he wasn't the first option same happened the year after when he choked against OKC and now he's the lead dog this year and will get stomped by Philly.
