Malone such a ing scrub coach. Portland was practically begging to be knocked out. Just let Plumlee get in and rest your oaf for a spell ffs.

McCollum: "we wanted game 3, you win that you have 73-75% chance to win the series"

    April 18, 2019 - Denver Nuggets 108 - San Antonio Spurs 118

Usually cos the other team is better and knows how to win the bigger games on their home court. Spurs let them off the hook just like they let the 2015 Clips off the hook.

These stats are misleading since a large majority of playoff games are played in the first round and the better teams ( seeds 1-3) almost always win game 3.

Jokic was fine. Murray turned the ball over in the 3rd overtime and got scored on easily in the 4th.

Portland has no answer for Milsap, they should have been feeding him every trip down the court.

Yeah if you advance the ball, you shouldn’t be able to throw it back into the backcourt. Rule needs to be adjusted.
It was changed cos sh** teams the refs were cheating for couldn't handle the pressure. It's just easier to keep the power in the refs' hands. Think about it; there's no natural onus to change that rule.

Not really. Dude was playing on rubber legs for way too long.

Portland trusted a fresh player (Hood) and won the game.

Also, the only reason the ball was in Murray's hands is cos they like him on pic n' roll with Jokic. He otherwise never has any reason to possess the ball, tbh. His skills in all facets outside of that are sub par.

Portland doing amazing just being in this series, much less up 2-1. They don't have the weapons to hang with Denver. Playing Dame/CJ big minutes and relying on Kanter who's on one leg now and guys like Aminu and Harkles, Hood...

    of a game!

Will Blazers hold on to homecourt? I don't have a clue, but really enjoyed the game.

Which of these teams has a chance in against GSW? I don't have a clue, but I'll be rooting for them.

In a better year both of these teams would've been first round fodder. Someone has to advance to the CF though.

No. Game 3's are on the lower seed's home courts, re .

Better teams win game 3 regardless of home court in the first round. That's fairly common. And you mean game 3s are on the LOWER seeds home court, re .

The point is if the road team wins they're obviously in the driver's seat. They simply don't many times cos they're still on the road against a playoff team. Really it's just a natural outcome in most cases. But in this case, the stat will not mean much if Portland doesn't hold serve and Denver then has two of the final three games at home. Just like how the Spurs ed up Game 4 and the series.

Malone is a moron for playing Jokic 65 minutes tbh. The beast was tired after playing 45 minutes (!!!) in regulation, which is insane in and of itself, and then proceeded to play him another 20 minutes in overtime...with a breather maybe he would've been a more effective scorer in overtime (though he did make some good passes, regardless).

Exactly. It's amazing how he gets away with stuff like that. He is good and kind of a league darling, but he surely is one dirty flopper.

Milsap has to be one of the most boring players of all time. So lame seeing him dominate a game (I know coming from a Spurs fan)

So dumb that Blazers give away the ball battling for it. Possession before stupid McCollom stealing a rebound from his big. This is Westbrook's legacy. These dumb guards trying to stat pad.
