me too. Thought it would happen in december already
Well, Ty makes sense. We got 2 years left of Bron being in LA (3rd year is player option). Why waste time on any other coach? Bron is already duly familiar with Ty's system. Now we just have to be smart with our lotto pick (package it with the kids for AD?), one other max, and the rest of the roster. Will need 3 and D players, rebounders, etc. to maximize LBJ's remaining years.

It's better to do that with Ty at the helm and not have an old dog have to learn new tricks.

All these pro-Lue takes will be prime bumping material just like when you hyped up Lonzo Bust, Erubiel.

Disagree, in general. He is pro Black, but in this case, it fits when the league is probably 80-85% Black. Why should the majority of Whiteys be in charge of a mostly Black sport?

Are there any Black head coaches in the NHL? I blindly doubt it. How about MLB? Sccer? There are less than a handful in the NFL too. I'm just saying.
Non of that has anything to do with whether or not Lebron hates whitey.

It doesn't take NBA level athleticism to coach in the NBA tbh...black coaches are overrepresented in the NBA when compared against the US general population tbh (granted, so are white coaches).

He does tbh. First Blatt and now Luke, granted Luke had it coming after 3 non playoff seasons tbh. Blatt got screwed hard though tbh.

I guess LeBron thinks white coaches are like slave owners tbh.

Bruh 173-221 is way better than the Lakers record for the past 6 years
Same for the Suns, that's why everyone's acting like we just hired Phil Jackson.

Really makes little difference who is coaching the team, Lebron just does whatever the he wants anyway... And they have no talent..

After Blatt was fired for bs reasons, look at the Cavs defensive rating decline steadily...

And yes, the regular season counts in the West.

You will laugh at yourself for supporting this weakass coach.

Now we just have to be smart with our lotto pick (package it with the kids for Marc Gasol?), one other max (Harrison Barnes), and the rest of the roster. Will need actors for Space Jam 2, Melo, etc. to maximize LBJ's remaining playoff outs.

It's better to do that with Ty at the helm and not have to deal with AIDS as the general manager.

Yep, the Suns did indeed beat out the Lakers for Monty:

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Los Angeles appeared quite close to offering Williams the chance to coach All-Star LeBron James. On The Woj Pod, Wojnarowski said that James did not tell Lakers management that he would prefer Lue, his former coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers, over Williams.

“He didn’t tell the Lakers you have to [hire Lue] because they were ready to move toward Monty Williams,” Wojnarowski said, “and I think the Lakers … never really took seriously the possibility he was going to take the Suns job and he did and I think — I know it surprised them.”

Still spin. He did choose you guys but there is no indication that if Lakers had offred first he wouldnt have taken that. Very hard to believe any black coach is turning down a sure offer over "final canidate status" ...he took the bird in hand.

And im not spinning it he very may have preferred Suns.
Just saying of course he would tell his people (agent) that and of course Suns will spin it that way.
Hey glad he got the job and apparently (hopefully) you guys aremore happy you got a good coach rather than happy he chose Suns over Lakers ...

Its the old "i didnt want her anyways" on both Monty /Lakers side ...

Plus seems silly for Lakers to not expect monty would not give Suns serious consideration ...
But hey, we are show right now so who knows?
