Teams like Burnley should be banned from the sport..they didn't start trying to score a goal until the 88th minute, despite already being safe from relegation

    Smart.

They'll get eviscerated if they even tried.

It's obviously the correct strategy for the game, but what's the point when you're already down 1-0 in the 80th minute and still keeping everybody back? they weren't even pressuring or countering, either..

teams mentality is if you concede a goal, you have zero chance of getting lucky. Srs. If they defend even though they're down and not concede anymore maybe they can get a lucky corner.

One chance is enough. Better than conceding

Same old Arselol choking in the final stretch and to think they had an 11 point lead over United at one point

Tbh i don't know why they want a CL spot so badly, so they can get bounced in the group stage or round of 16. It's a moot point if they're not willing to spend and make the proper changes to the roster.

West ham played a very physical game. Beasted on a less physical side.
And out of all the games this was the one that shows why spurs must have Kane.

No physical presence in the final third until the Llorente was put on 60th minute.
The inability of Llorente to move illustrated in the 88 th min. Then Jansen can’t head the ball in after 90.
Just not good enough, respect West Ham for playing so hard. Pushed Son, Eriksen and Ali around like the slightly built players they are. Son needed to be taken out with Ali, he had nothing left... cooked.

What a strange season. Never gone this far in the champions league.
And really don’t deserve to be in the final four EPL.

Maybe you guys will be 2012 Chelsea

    Who knows!

Oh man I forgot about that.
    Whatever it takes.

Winning the EPL now is really the ultimate because it takes so much talent and stamina.
Being in the top four really allows teams to keep and obtain necessary players.
They want to individually experience the CL.
Klopp and Pep, along with the ability to buy, have laid down a gauntlet.

It is possible they were totally cooked and could not even run to counter?
I did not watch the game you were referring to. Possibly only had one good five-minute Left in their legs

This game is absolutely debilitating physically.
Guys like Sterling and Bernardo Silva should be celebrated for their 10k-half marathon speed.

Wow, one of the best halves of the year, how can anybody not be entertained by that ending?

Long moves off the bench from Shaqiri and Origi..

How many times bas origi saved liverpool ass this year?

They'd be at 85 points without his endgame ery

    Phil Jones and Ashley Young

    United’s CB pairing today

    Ole Gunnar
    Vegetable Lasagna

What a disaster giving Ole the job after a fluky stretch

They are really lacking in talent, though..Pogba's all-world, but he's so lazy and unmotivated..Rashford is overrated, Lukaku and Lingard are mid-table players, their defenders are terrible..you know it's bad when scrubs like Luke Shaw and McTominay are some of the better players for the season

Arselol would have to win by 5 or something and Spurs lose by 5 to reach top 4.

At least they can focus on europa league now.

Man united back to Europa league.

Looks like we backed into the top 4.

We got away with a horrid last part of the season. No players left after zero summer spending.
Kane injured with Llorente as a replacement is nonsense.

Now we might keep Eriksen and Alderwerield. But make no mistake, we got very old this season. The aforementioned players are now on the brink of prime and going down in long term thinking. Mature ----> old

There are at least 8 players that should be gone.
I know people on this board are horribly interested in Tottenham and concerned with every move so I wont name them.

The most relieved guy on Tottenham is Kung Fu Son.
    wtf was he doing...

wtf was anyone supposed to do with that defense? And they also got very run down with injuries and being in contention for top 4, CL, and FA.
Huge changes here as well. But not the manager. He inherited the crap in the back from Jose. Top players just played way too much. Pogba was fast one game and could not move the next.

Arsenal still has the Europa trophy as a possible back up.
The last league game can now serve for some rest.

It's amazing how a club that always comes up so clutch in the PL, can continue to choke in the CL season after season.

Wow. So it all comes down to brighton

Liverpool is playing at home. They will likely win that game.
