Per OrangeBloods, WR Bru McCoy has yet to file his appeal for a waiver to the NCAA.
They expect him to do that this month as the family is being thorough with the process to make sure he's in the best position to be approved.

Quotes from S Chris Thompson, Jr. of Duncanville after his official visit to UT (24/7):
“It was the best of my visits to Texas so far,” he said. “The best part was being able to hang out with people like Josh Thompson, Sam (Ehlinger), Brandon Jones, Caden (Sterns), and many others. They gave me advice to make the process less stressful.”
“I also hung out with Michael Huff for a little bit, and I saw his lambo,” Thompson said. “Just the overall correlation of gaining knowledge while having fun was the highlight of the visit for me.”
“He (Josh Thompson) was just genuine, and he looked out for me,” he said.
“We hung out at the house where Josh, Sam, and Brandon Jones stay,” he said. "Then we just hung around downtown.”

Inside Texas thinks Harris is going to be offered really soon, and as early as this evening.
I just watched his film. Kids a football player. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where he ends up playing, because a growth spurt could change his position.
DE James Sylvester of Newton to TCU.

Rivals saying Coach Beck will be in Arizona this week to see RB Bijan Robinson, CB Kelee Ringo, S Lathan Ransom and 2021 OL Jonah Miller.
He should also go to Las Vegas to see TE Darnell Washington.
OL Nate Anderson of Frisco Reedy commits to OU.

JUCO LB Juwan Mitc (El Dorado, KS)

Damn it, he's gonna be a good player for them.
Yeah he is. I don’t think Texas has even offered, have we?
Negative.
This could be a big one because Mitc is now graduating in May.
He will be eligible to play in 2019 and would have an extra year of eligibility.
Oklahoma offers ATH Kitan Crawford of Tyler John Tyler.
