When the Cowgirls had an over-the-hill HOF coach, Jerry bought the team, canned the coach, brought in a young, hungry, aggressive HC who promptly traded their star running back for a boatload of draft picks that turned the team into a juggernaut for a few years. I've been praying that the Spurs would become such a team.

But I am afraid you are right. The Spurs organization seems pretty content with turning a little profit and limping into the playoffs as an also-ran. Except in the case of the Cowgirls, Jerry has perfected the art of trotting out a mediocre pretender every year and turning a HUGE profit.

I've been saying the PATFO needs to hire someone with big tles to sit underneath the opposing teams basket when they are shooting ft's. One the big tled gals in Bill Mc's sig would work nicely. That could be the difference between a brief playoff run and a le.

Tbf '14 Tim Duncan was pretty low level as far as best players on le teams go. Have to change the philosophy to more of a collective team effort instead of being so iso heavy with our fake stars though. If GS splits up, Spurs can be right in the thick of things if they draft well, shed Belli or Wombat (preferably both), and get a solid SF with the MLE, tbh.

Never going to happen with " mah touches " on the team.
