That's rough, though living and playing in Europe isn't all bad.
smh, he had a great year and just forfeited $10+ million. Tyreke is 29 years old and can ask for reinstatement in 2 years.
List of players banned for drug use in NBA history:
Tyreke Evans
OJ Mayo
Chris Andersen
Stanley Roberts
Duane Washington
Mitc Wiggins
Lewis Lloyd
Michael Ray Richardson

Roy Tarpley
Richard Dumas

he was one of my favorite players around the league for a while, injuries and all. was an inferior version of manu in some respects
iirc the spurs wanted him for the MLE after he left sacto but then new orleans swooped in and paid him big bucks
He can fill in the void for Jimmer, and go to China until he's eligible for reinstatement.
RIP in peace Roy Tarpley imho tbh
Are we talking like doping kind of drugs? That seems like a rough punishment for just smoking weed or snorting coke, tbh.
Methlamillionnaire![]()
People in that twitter thread thinking he took all those drugs![]()
dont remember him getting traded to OKC tbh
Banning for opiates if it really happens is ing stupid as I'm sure many pro athletes are addicted to painkillers/hillbilly heroin due to injuries and rehab
The drug policy was a way for the league to take away western compe ion for the lakers. Totally annihilated the rockets and then took away the one player giving the lakers the most trouble- tarpley.
Hard to believe that players in the 80s living in LA didn’t have drug abuse issues. Magic partied so hard he contacted HIV. How can sex fueled parties not have drugs floating all around?
Dumas was giving the bulls problems so out he goes. Barkley lucky he was too big a name.
@ lsd being on that list.
Should be life
Surprised lamar Odom isn't on this list tbh
From the better living thru chemistry dept:
Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter on LSD
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Dock Ellis sported hair curlers in the dugout, took handfuls of amphetamines before games, and pitched a no-hitter on LSD.
"I pitched every game in the major leagues under the influence of drugs.”
In addition to LSD, Ellis took loads of cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, mescaline, crank, and later, heroin. Before starts, he’d take as many “Greenies”—or amphetamines—as he could swallow to keep himself sharp.
“I would try to out-milligram any opponent,” said Ellis. “Before a game, I would take a maximum of 15-17 pills. Not to say that I didn’t have enough stuff to pitch in the major leagues, I just tried to get a little edge.”
ing Richard Dumas
He had hops
Dumbass Paul Westphal didn’t use him enough during the 1993 Finals , he was killing the Bulls frontline including Pippen
Preferring Tm Chambers
well a mystery of the season is now solved.
Everyone expected him to be a major contributor with the Pacers after the good season he had previously but he couldn't fit in with the team and suddendly he was thrown out of a practice for " behaviour detrimental to the team" and kept away from the team. It was most likely then he was found high.
I remember when OJ Mayo was banned it had been already two months that he had a mystery fall from the stairs and he was kept away "injured".
Since he got fatter and went to Memphis, I'd put my wager on dat lean, tbh.
That's Suns Announcer and Royalty Tom Chambers to you
Went the way of Rasual Butler. DIdn't he die from drinking lean and driving
