do you want the best player in the world or an over the hill coach who rode Tim Duncan's coat tails, gets consistently outcoached by rookie coaches in the playoffs and is in love with midgets and old veterans?

Kawhi. Thankful for everything Pop did but it's a players league now and if he can't understand that he should watch from afar. Guess there was no way his pride was gonna allow uncle Dennis to destroy his culture lol. It don't even matter now ..,...

    Lol funny question

kawhi doesn’t want to be here so it doesn’t matter. People are saying that he wanted out cause San Antonio is a boring city with nothing to do and it’s hot and humid. So even if we wanted him, he doesn’t want us.

Coach Pop all day. Kawhi is a great player and will go on to do great things but Pop has been the constant with this team winning. He isn’t perfect and has made decisions that even I sometimes don’t agree with but there is no denying how great a job he has done for as long as he has done it.

Pop easily. The le that people now like to claim the quitter brought to us was in reality Pop's greatest masterpiece. Most importantly, Pop actually wants to be here, tbh.

Obviously Kawhi, but he didn’t want to be here any longer. So the point is moot

I'm assuming crater face is DDR, which makes this a dumb question because DePression is giving whiny interviews ESPNW, while Kawhi has a decent shot at ring #2. If crater face is 5x ring owner Pop, then this question is even dumber.

I always think of this as the Jerry Sloan moment for pop. Kawhi is obviously better, a likely hall of famer but not an all time great. Utah didn't really suffer from his retiring, but it did get messy. Historically the Spurs looked to Utah as the benchmark.

Say what you will, but if you are stipulating that keeping kawhi means no injury and no Uncle, then I'm stipulating poertle becomes an all Star and DeRozan shoots 3balls.

Of course you take the star over the coach, coaching hardly matters in the NBA, particularly in the playoffs..

Steve Kerr is the only coach I'd put on the same level as superstars today .

you said the same thing for Brad Stevens..

Why are you gnawing the wound ST? He didn't want to be here anymore, he didn't love us, and we never had that choice to make.
