That's not true. Kawhi had a real contender here more so than any other team. I qouldve put money on our team over the Rockets, and Cavaliers the past 4 years. We shouldve won 50 games the year without him but injuries and his drama played a mess. Not signing Simmons and Dedmon over Mills and Gasol has a legitimate back story but either way Spurs are always contenders as much as that word can mean npwadays despite the Golden State train.
