If lying to yourself makes you feel better just keep doing it.
Magic said D'Lo wasn't a leader (became an all star; led Nets to the playoffs).
Pop said Kiwi not a leader (regained his place as top 3 player in the world; led Raps to the Finals)
Pop and Magic should shut it tbh![]()

Leader or not, it still does not change the fact that #2 is still and will forever be a made pussy taking orders from uncle fester....
LOL, top 3 poster? Did you conduct a poll, and who participated in your poll, your mommy and your alt. accounts?![]()
TheGreatYacht is a spurstalk superstar.
Talking down a player after he's gone just looks like a bad case of the redass. I think Magic was worse than Pop, because it was his idea to trade Russell. But it makes them both look weak, whether it was true or not.
I never thought of Kawhi as a leader when he was here. A really good player, but not a leader. But if the Raptor players think he's a leader, that's all it takes - he's a leader. And that's obviously how they're looking at him.
Yall are so ing obvious with your alts... Sickening timvp does nothing about it.
So, when I was telling you clowns to trade more for him, where was all this top 3 player from most of the Lakers fan here. Most of you guys didn't consider him to be this good. Too bad you missed out on him because you weren't willing to give up what he was worth.
Means a lot coming from one of a handful of elite posters left tbh
I dont do alts. I created a second account a few years ago cause I couldnt remeber my password and had trouble retrieving. But thats about it.
He's a leader to a team that has never sniffed an NBA finals. They don't have that experience and Kawhi leads by example more than by words. On the Spurs on the other hand, leading means constantly getting yelled at by Popovich and be submissive and take it, plus all the other stuff of calling plays, etc. Different ball game tbh
Nah, like I said, most sane Laker fans recognize his standing amongst elite players in the NBA. The Lakers could have offered 21 year old Shaq and 25 year old Magic for Kiwi and Pop wouldn't do itPERIOD.
Probably some truth in that. Still, Pop taking potshots at a player after he's gone looks a lot like SJax taking shots now. It's over. Move on. If Kawhi makes any specific claims, then rebut them. But making that comment about Kawhi at that time didn't help the Spurs, or punish Kawhi.
Magic was worse - first HE gets rid of the guy, then has to follow him out the door with that comment? That's just chicken .
Kawhi wasn't a leader on the Spurs because he didn't need to be...legendary vets on the team that have done it all and seen it all...those are the guys on the team you want the rooks to model after....Kawhi was the best player at that time...sure...after TD left and Manu/Parker were on their last legs...it was his turn to take the mantle and he buckled...maybe the pressure of having to live up to TD/Manu/Tp was too much...but that's neither here nor there...Kawhi and his group wanted out and they were just looking for any excuse to bail so that kawhi could build his own legacy and uncle dennis could get paid ...and I don't buy any of this crap that someone in the organization did something or said something to annoy or offend Kawhi or his group...Im sure there's worse things that go on that we never hear about...
And I could not give 1 tbh.
In order to be a leader, you need to be around your teammates even when you're injured.
This is not that nuanced.
Lonzo, Kuzma and Ingram are all great leaders.![]()
Agreed. See my sig.![]()
Lying about what? You like the money so much hit the team up for a loan.. Sports are about what is on the field/court. They won't add anything of value if number 2 leaves.. Their former best player is in SA. And our former best player will be in LA..
you forgot to mention LeGM
You've just totally lost track.
So put in on track? You add nothing..
I simply told you a fact. And you went nuts.
Facts without context.. I gave you plenty.. But you lack the train of thought to further a conversation..
The context was your own remarks. You've forgotten.
