Pretty sure we all saw this coming.
We saw two ball-dominant guards teaming up and thought, "That's probably not gonna work out."
Sounds like an aging TP to me. Still wants the star treatment even though he's washed
Should just count them millions and let Harden be Harden. Lose in the 2nd round every year

Some, maybe most, thought it wouldn’t work out at all, from day one. Those people were still wrong. Depending what your definition of “work out” is, it could easily be argued that it did work out, especially season 1. It just didn’t ultimately produce a ring. But they were still an improved team that was one of the best teams in the league that lost to the eventual champs.
Every team has a shelf life. Maybe this duo was two seasons. But I’d argue they had better success these two seasons than they would have had they not added CP3.
What if they had a star player (or the equivalent of Chris Paul) at any other position besides PG? They'd probably be better.
Of all the star duo combinations, PG-SG is the most redundant and pointless (along with PF-C, like when Davis and Cousins teamed up). Variety is better.
