Also there’s been someone on the board for months trying to tell everybody to cool off on Evans bc he wasn’t coming. I don’t have the energy to go back and look but it may have been texas4ever... anyways, I wanna know what he knew bc everybody had him trending in our direction. It started looking bad when he immediately left after jmblya was cancelled.
I don't know if anyone else said it, but I know that has been my stance for a very long time. This kid is another Adrian Peterson making a business decision. Peterson picked blOwU when everyone thought he was going to pick Texas and he called it a business decision. This is exactly what Evans is doing. He wants to go to a school that has a dominate offensive line and a stable of backs so he doesn't have to carry the load. This kid just wants to get through the next few years without injury so he can take his talent to the NFL. This has been my read on him since his Junior year. Every school he picked has done extremely well with putting running backs in the NFL.
Hands down he is going to Bama with an outside shot at going to LSU.
It was never any skin off my nose, I'm still not convinced he is the best back, Milton is my pick for that but he is close.

The best report I have is that this year there a ton of great RBs out there. Do you guys remember (if you are old enough) the 1983 NFL draft? It was the draft of QBs, there were 5 taken in the first round. The best of the best was John Elway. The last QB taken was the kid from Pitt taken by the Miami Dolphins who ended up making the biggest impact. That was Dan Marino. He became the immediate starter and took the fish to the super bowl against the 49ers.
Don't worry if our Rbs are 5'star or 4'star. There are a lot of kids that have the talent to be immediate starters and make a huge impact, it doesn't have to be Evans or Milton.
My personal favorite is the kid that just committed to Oklahoma, he is the guy I wanted most. The one from Poteet high in McKenney.

WR Troy Omeire of Fort Bend Austin told Rivals he will be officially visiting UT for their big June 21st weekend.
He will take officials to A&M and LSU in June as well.
based on his top 5, what i gather (or guess) is that evans is basing his picks on teams he thinks will have a shot at the national le. maybe if texas can beat down LSU, he will change his tune. personally, i think he winds up at bama.
OrangeBloods commented today that UT definitely leads for RB Bijan Robinson after speaking with an "impeccable source."
They even went as far to say him committing on his official visit isn't out of the question.
Evans basically downplays any success Texas has, so my initial reaction is beating LSU and OU (after already defeating Georgia) won't matter at all.
I see him drawing it out and playing the game, and then he will sign with Alabama or Georgia.
Alabama is my pick currently.
