No more guards who can't defend!!

Measured 6-foot-6 with shoes (better than expected) but he has only a 6-foot-3.25 wingspan.
One thing I like about Herro is that he is a baller he won’t shrink from taking last shot and will give max effort on offense and defense.
the guy played well as a freshman in the sec...hit some big shots, competed at a high level. i think hes a more athletic jj red , im not opposed to picking him at 19, if a few guys are gone at that point.
Herro looks amazing in shooting drills. Stock seems to be rising a bit.
I just don't see how the Spurs pick him at 19, though. I guess the only way is if the Spurs think Forbes will be overpaid next summer and want to get a cheaper replacement.
Ugh, f me. If SA is truly worried about replacing Mills/Forbes/Beli with 19 then what are we even doing here? That is not a need and while I like Forbes, you don’t draft guys like him with your best first round pick. You can find those players, IMO, without needing to draft them. Like you can with 3rd string Centers; there are a surplus of them.
And if SA is really worried about Forbes, trading him to move up on the draft should be a lock.
I agree would rather take Keldon or Cam Johnson but I will say this he is much better then Forbes or Mills but needs to me are SF and PF/C.
I’m completely averse to picking him. A shorter Bonner would be his ceiling?
A homeless man's McDermott?
He plays nothing like Matt Bonner.
This is the only player that I'd be genuinely pissed off if SA picks him in the first round.
Shooter with short arms was the extent of my comparison. He will probably never have the career Bonner did.
Yep. Besides, Pop rarely drafts ACC guys. Too much en lement. So I don’t think it’s likely.
Your posts are so off base.![]()
Kentucky is SEC.
We obviously need more white guys with mediocre lateral quickness and t-Rex arms
no.
ACC or SEC, Spurs prefer drafting West Coast players who get less media exposure. That has been a trend.
ACC Lonnie Walker IV
ACC Jarron Blossomgame
A10 Cady Lalanne
Big Ten Deshaun Thomas
Big 12 Marcus Denmon
Big 12 Cory Joseph
Big 12 James Anderson
Big East DeJuan Blair
ACC Jack McClinton
Two guys playing in Florida. Overall, guys with less media exposure. That’s the key.
More recently, in general, players from UCLA, Washington, Colorado, San Diego...

It’s not my original theory but I agree with it.
