    Not a fair battle.

KD is not there and we all know that he owns nephew.
That’s a lie. Never thought I’d see the day spurs fans making injury excuses for the warriors

Hey, you try and win a championship when your team is down to only one HOF, 1st Team All NBA player.

    Lmao. Shut the up .
You know it’s true that you even jump off the spurs bandwagon. Like a little .

Remember, KD scored 53 points on nephew the last time they met.

Does he really own him? Or does he own him because he’s playing on a super stacked Warriors team that won a championship and 73 games without him?

Wasn’t nephew guarding him in the 2016 series against OKC? what was the outcome?

So in your world Amare Stoudemire owns Tim Duncan? Got it.

It would be warriors in 6, that 2017 was phenomenal for golden state. Winning game 1 against them doesn’t change that. Considering how quickly we fell off a cliff within 12 minutes after Kawhi got injured our supporting cast wasn’t going to be good enough to beat them 4 times out of 7.

Spurs have had tons of awesome game 1’s and then blowing the series like they did against OKC the year before.
Thats my point. Kawhi was good enough to carry this team to a series win. We looked horrible without him. He held the team together. Pop saw it too. Thats why he was pissed afterwards. Pop is usually a little more calm after an injury. He will say something like "It happens" "part of the game" "no one feels sorry us" kind of thing. But he knew what Kawhi meant and what this team was capable of doing with him in there.

Now in the present Kawhi is showing off what kind of player he is. Besides the diva/drama/mute cancer/load management crap, we all knew that he was a next generation type player. Thats why we considered him the next face of the Spurs. So seeing how good is now, makes me think of what could have been 2 years ago.

But its pointless trying to rehash something that will never ever be proven.

    No. Just stating facts.

The Raptors might even get an asterisk next to them if they win the championship.

It would have been a better matchup if they had the whole roster healthy.

    This

Had this debacle happened in anymother organization heads would be rolling.

Oh and Kawhi is STILL limping after all this time. The team should’ve listened to him.

I guess we should take solace in the fact that it took 2 spurs players to help dethrone the warriors.

2017 is looking more and more like a year that was ours, but was cut short due to injuries.
Spurs would've won in 2017. We had their number in the regular season and were up 23 in the first game. That Kawhi was better and healthier than this version, also better on D.He was on pace to score 50 and as long as he was out there, LA didn't get double teamed and was on pace to score 40. Both were huge match up problems for the Dubs.
Pop was able to hide Patty Mills on Draymond and Jonathon Simmons played his heart out all series. Kawhi and Danny were always the best tandem to guard Steph/KD. Kyle Anderson was also decent at guarding KD and don't forget Manu. Dubs always had problems with Manu.

KD never had Kawhi's number either. KD's efficiency always dipped when Kawhi guarded him. Besides that Kawhi is too strong for him so KD can't guard Kawhi.

what Ire? there should be no ire IMO. any spur fan that has not moved on form this is a poor bas and has probably bigger problems in real life

now that does not mean I need to stop calling Mute Cancer a Mute Cancer and saying that the raptors will eventually choke. but that's no ire. IMO

reality: this is the only series of playoffs in Durbeta's career that he did not have a all star (superstar) on his side

2019 and people acting as if Durant was better than Kawhi in playing basketball

Right now the Raptors are dominating the Warriors. It SHOULD be 3-0.

Purely from a basketball fan standpoint, it would nice to see Durant and Klay come back and see a 7 game series down to the wire happen.

    Bet?

Oracle is a different beast. TOR has no shot unless both Klay and Durbeta are out for the series.
Tried to tell y’all. Even with a healthy Klay it was a struggle for GS. They are done.

Nah Bruh. After game one I realized it. Without KD it’s an awful matchup. When I made the bet it was great odds and I thought Klay/Curry/Dray would be enough but I underestimated how much better TOR defense was than any other team GS faced. GS non-big4 talent is pretty bad tbh. With TOR having defenders at every position and GS only having 2 scorers it’s a lot to overcome.

If both Klay and KD don’t come back next game it’s over.

Bunch of salty motha as in here. If he was still on the spurs and didn’t quit on them y’all would still be slobbin on that knob

There won’t be no asterisk. It’s not like the warriors didn’t benefit from their opponents players being injured the playoffs before

You know, if Osama hadn't blown up the twin towers he probably wouldn't have been as hated.
