It doesn't hurt really, i mean even if Kawhi had stayed our team around him was nowhere near as good as Toronto is, so not like we'd be playing in the Finals this year. and he would have just bolted in FA it appears anyway. it would have hurt more if we hadnt won a ring with him already tbh
The Dubs going down makes it more palatable. 5 finals and 3 rings isn't a whole lot better than the Heatles with 4 finals and 2 rings. If the Dubs break up this summer, even better.

The Spurs lost a better player than LAL has had in a decade and still made the playoffs for the 21st straight year. LAL got the best player on Earth to sign with them but still miss the playoffs for the sixth straight year. Despite that, the Spurs still have better prospects than LAL does. From my count, SA has had a better recent past, present and foreseeable future. Kind of amazing.

In terms of the warriors I completely agree. Because this clown fake dynasty is about to end. Kevin will bail and go someplace where he thinks he will get actual respect. Players like Patrick Ewing and Reggie Miller suffered through one difficult loss after another attempting to win it all the right way. Not really. Just proves how much of a Kawhi and his uncle are. He wasn't as injured as he claimed to be. He quit and literally left the team. Spurs front office really didn't have a choice.
