    Jordan Bone

    School: Tennessee
    Position: PG
    Age: 22
    Height: 6-foot-2.75
    Weight: 179
    Wingspan: 6-foot-3.25
Draft Range: Second Round to Undrafted
    Combine Results? Yes

Why: Potentially of an upside for a second round pick. He's an extraordinary athlete who's apparently started to figure out how to do it in game (read the Stepien Commentary below). In particular, he sort of reminds me of Tony Parker when drafted: his nba-ready offensive tool is un-assisted scoring: he scored 45 unassisted 2 points shots at the rim (and only had 8 assisted makes) from a total of 94 shots at the rim, and 75 of 151 from the 2 pt range. Combine that with his size and speed and well it's shocking how well they match as prospects. He's developing a 3pt shot, at 35% from deep this year.

Why Not: Older junior, he's developing the skills later than TP did; does this imply less bball IQ or is it just different coaching and development path? On the small side - needs to add some muscle for the NBA. Might be a weaker link defensively.

Spurs Fit: Austin. At least 1 year, maybe 2.

Spurs Comparison - Ceiling: Tony Parker

    Spurs Comparison - Floor: ???

Don't know how else to put it. He reminds me of Tony when drafted SOOOO much.

    In the NBA Combine,
Bone was the fastest players in the lane agility drill, the shuttle run, and the 3/4 court sprint. He also had the highest leap in the standing vertical leap with 36.0 inches. He was second in the max vertical leap with 42.5 inches.

    Good job, tbh.

I can't co-sign regarding Bone having Hall of Fame upside, considering he was the third or fourth best player or a team that barely avoided a couple laughable upsets in the tourney ....... but he could be an NBA player. His combine results were certainly impressive.

    TP? No

    Jason Hart? Maybe

Go watch the film. Yeah, it's not likely Bone gets to his ceiling, after all TP hit his 99% percentile outcome, but man does he ever have the same stuff as draft/rookie Tony. Blazing speed, goes to the rim for layups and floaters, their game is so similar...

Watched a lot of him. He started to remind me of TP a bit (style of play) as well this year but obviously not nearly as polished and at a much lower compe ion level. Dude does have speed to burn, decent shot, and can drive a little. Wouldn’t be a bad late 2nd round pick.

Watching Tennessee this season, I felt his game had the best chance to translate to the NBA of anyone on that team.
