I will admit Spurs don’t ring with Nephew, LMA, and the coffee crew in the West. The chemistry was off. Bobcats deserve an assist for fumbling the Gasol trade. No way they beat Philly with Jonas instead.

He wanted out and Spurs had no option to let him have his way.

Spurs trade him to a team that already had a ton of talent. Traded not just him but Green (another starter).

They won it all playing a game reminiscent of the defensive oriented game the Spurs used to play.

Spurs just need to get back to the kind of game that they used to play. Defense wins championships, even against superteams. Also, Raptors lucked out with timely injuries of the other team.
