I agree with you on the closure part. It sucks #2 won but I feel now it's officially over. Whatever he does from this point forward should have no bearing on the Spurs.
It should have been that way from the beginning. There were people here so angry and bitter they wanted to see Kawhi fail away from the spurs. Raptors won 59 games last season you add a top 5 player and there’s a good chance they’re going to the finals. I thought bucks were coming out the east though. But he was going to see plenty of success there.

And let us not forget Spurs Medical Staff is TRASH, misdiagnosed Danny Kawhi and PAU. The team on Pop's orders LEAKED out about him in the press, and he addressed it with Kyle Lowery's new best friend(Rip D PRESSION) timvp
Seem like all this dude wants to do after he just won a championship is to throw shades at the Spurs every chance possible.

Actually glad for him that he won away from the Spurs. IMO cements his legend. His prior championship he was very young and the big 3 got a ton of credit. This was something different.

Really pins it on the medical staff. Doctors can disagree, but the coach should always back the player. What seems to have happened is he believed the team docs (trust in the Spurs) even if Kawhi’s docs were crazy.

Or it’s all in Kawhi’s head because Uncle planted it there.
Nah there was a real rift early in the season and all the speculation about the injury was started by Pops incredulity and the medical staff.

The Spurs sided with the washed-up egomaniac Porker over Kawhi. Of course he's going to throw shade.

I hate Kawhi for leaving and how he left. If he left in free agency, that's his right. Sitting out and whining, that just didn't sit well with me. But he was awesome in that playoff run. It made him leaving the Spurs all the more painful. But he could have won a le with the Spurs roster from this year. He would have easily beat Denver and Portland and GSW team broke down from injuries was all for the taking. TBH, the 76ers gave Toronto more of a scare than the GSWs did thanks to injuries.

I was rooting agaist Dubs dynasty and closing in on The Big 3 ring count. It just so happened Kawhi was the instrument. It also gives the narrative, what if he didn’t get hurt. I still and always will see Kawhi as ungrateful for not straightening what really took place and clear the name of the franchise who made the player he is.

From here on, no more Kawhi nees. He served his purpose and now should remain in the past.

One thing always bugged me about Leanord is he seems oblivious to the concept of team. All his comments are about "I" and "me". This goes all the way back to 2014, you know, the first time he spoke.

Imagine being this pathetic. Kawhi averaged 28.5pts 9rebs and 4ast in the Finals, while being doubled and tripled teamed like crazy.

You are allowed to be salty, but talking like a dumbass is not a good look.
You are literally saying warriors are built on injuries, dumbass.

Kawhi led Raptors in points, rebounds and steals in the Finals.

But also he gave this team the right approach.

Kawhi helped Lowry to keep focused in the season

He was a true leader for them
First I could not care less about his ppg and everything when he shot 9/24 in the 5th game and 7/16 for 19 points during the 6th, and then cried for padding stats purposes.
He is not the reason why Raps won the ring, was the 4th fiddle when it was time to finish the series.

Second, we all know he is a mute cancer re , so why even mention that BS?
So he couldnt do it with the Spurs in the West excepting ´17 he was an unstable player who wasnt able to play more than 30 mpg and now he knows everything?
    Please.

"I'm still just playing basketball no matter what jersey I have on." Gee, good to know that you mercenary semi-mute cancer. This guy is a little bit off. No empathy at all for a city and community that supported him for six hears until he decided to look out for himself and spit in the faces of everyone in San Antonio.

What is this injury he keeps referencing? I saw real injuries the last month or so to other players. There is no gray area for those guys. There has been no clear confirmation of his physical condition for TWO years.

I interview people in my job all the time. My intuition tells me the nephew is not a completely honest person (perhaps hanging around unc too much).

What has happened since July 16, 2018 has absolutely ZERO bearing on what took place before that date. NONE. Coach Pop has a 25 year history of looking out for his players. I trust that more than a single person with an agenda and some kind of issue with properly communicating the simplest things due to being "quiet".

When you sign a contract you put your good name out there too. Neph did not pass the test in my view. He ran - hid hid - in all likelihood he lied to promote a narrative that fits his desires. Its sad that the end justifies the means in this world a lot of times.
Knowing right from wrong gets lost in the shuffle.

If mute stayed here this year, we would be talking about him taking his talents to the west coast anyway. Violated the spirit of his contract by his actions last year. Nothing will change that. I don't think any of the Spurs players respect this guy's actions. He quit on them and the organization.

    A total crap situation.

Athletes are supposed to want to play. KD actually wanted to play. He has more heart than people gave him credit for. Leonard showed Zero heart last season. If his mentality going forward as he gets older, is every time he feels a twinge of pain he needs to shut it down in fear of a torn ACL, boy he is going to miss a -Ton of ball games..
He did play... And realized it wasn't getting better... He was smart as

I guess Timmy didn't show heart when he sat out an entire playoff run
