    At the risk of being seen as a reflexive Biden apologist, this seems to me like an aspirational statement to illustrate that medical progress is going to be a key component to a Biden presidency.

    Whether an outright cure in the next 4-8 years is feasible doesn't register as controversial for me.

    Actually I think it's fair to say many Trump supporters didn't expect a wall to be literally built and funded by Mexico. They took his meaning to be that he would be tough on immigration.

    Of course, Trump has basically tripled down on the literal wall for his entire administration. And his supporters have either forgotten or forgiven the Mexico-funded aspect.
