Why should any of this be believable?
So I know most of you will disregard this post or whatever, but this is news that nobody has yet heard before on the meeting between Pop and Kawhi last summer. I cannot disclose my source but I can tell you it came from a member on the spurs board of directors. It’s a long story, I just happened to get the info 2 months ago due to the right place at the right time sort of deal. I was I despised between then and now which is why it took so long to post.
To make a long story short, Kawhi sat down with pop with his uncle there. This is how the conversation went down.
Kawhi: “Before you say anything Pop, I’m going to let you know I do not care to play in San Antonio. My mind is made up. I just want to play in LA and ball out.”
The emotion behind it made it sound like he didn’t care about rings, etc. I’m sure most of you might think this is a joke or whatever, but it’s not. I promise you Kawhi signs to an LA team this summer, regardless of his chip in Toronto. Really his uncle didn’t have anything to do with it from this angel, but I’m not too sure about that. As far as I heard this was all Kawhis doing.

This sound like Uncle Dennis, himself. What about that NY footage clearly showing Uncle leading him away from fans by the hand, like you would a child?
If i believe this i might as well believe that the earth is flat tbh. As far as i'm concerned Kawhi is ing idiot off the court and every decision is being made by his uncle. uncle Dennis tbh.
I mean they leaked as much , the only nugget here is that ok kawhi himself said it?

Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN Kawhi looked Pop dead in the face and told him he doesn't want to play for the Spurs, so I'd say it's legit. There have also been various reports about the meeting being shorter than 5 minutes. So yeah, I believe it. But I believe he said that cause Uncle Dennis told him/been in his ear.

Whether true or not it's no secret that he wanted, and probably still wants to play in LA.
Kawhi's group media trained him when he sat out. You can see that by the one interview he gave to Spurs reporters where he said for sure when they asked him if he wants to finish his career here. Also at the few games where he came back to sit behind the team on the bench. That wasn't natural behaviour
