What happened to Terry Price? I'm sure that Jimbo has changed things for the better but they have convinced this kid that he is a 5 technique in a 4-3 scheme and nothing could be further from the truth. His classic size and ability are 100% 3 technique. I do however now agree that unless Texas changed it's scheme it would likely be playing him out of position.
As for Jerry Schmidt, he was the S&C coach at Oklahoma for a really long time. I'm not too sure that is a huge improvement as he was the guy that was trying to make guys eat their own vomit. However, blOwU did win a lot of conference les with him as their S&C coach, so we shall see what happens there. I just know that Yancy has been lights out for Texas and it absolutely shows in the body makeup of each player, these guys are coming out extremely ripped and extremely strong.

yes. i've definitely noticed. some of those guys over at the 40 acres are monsters. the only one that i get the same impression from at a&m at the moment is bobby brown. it looks like he had tree trunk implants in his thighs.

Per The Football Brainiacs, WR Johnny Wilson of Calabasas, CA didn't leave Austin until last night.
They feel Texas has taken the lead here, but he'll visit Oregon on July 27th once the summer dead period ends.

last I heard over at IT is Washington sounds suddenly like he's OU. I say "suddenly," because like a number of top targets remaining that we looked good on prior to the weekend, they now seem to favor other schools. Frustrating
I think Umanmielen prob goes to OU. No knowledge, just feels that way based on his pasts tweets.
Great news about Wilson and I think we’d beat out UO for him but I worry if USC hires an Urban-esque guy.
Washington just seems like an OU lean. Feels like he would’ve committed already with all of the big safeties we’ve been so close to bringing in and taking up spots.
Hoping Bijan gets back to AZ as soon as possible and gets away from the negative recruitment that he prob hears at whatever camp he’s at.
Sucks fat nuts about broughton. Leal last year and broughton this year is a complete failure in my opinion. It just feels like both guys were ours to lose and we lost them.

What are your thoughts on him? This staff is very selective with offers and they offered him a good while back so they definitely saw something they like.
