Well, they start four or five days after the Spurs, so that seems normal to not have the roster finalized.

Doesn't sound like it.. And probably a good thing for the rest of the roster, especially samanic

That would be bad for Metu, he needed to show improvement to insure he stays on the roster.

Not good start for Metu more time for Eubanks to make a case to make the team. Will be interesting to see how much Eubanks has improved and also if Robinson has a chance at a 2 way contract?

according to Jabari Young, he will miss the Utah’s SL due to having a procedure on an abscess on his foot.

It's good that there's nothing structurally wrong but, man, that's some terrible timing for Metu. If he misses all of summer league, his chances of making the final roster take a hit.

So in four days, all the teams are going to have 18 players on their SL roster? The Grizzlies start their SL season on the same day as the Spurs, but they only have 4 players on their roster. Is that normal, too?

DISCLAIMER: I don't think I've ever commented on any other teams' SL rosters before.

4 listed on a site that just went by draft picks and media stories of signings?

Yes, that's pretty normal. The Spurs' releasing their roster as early as they did this time isn't their norm. A lot of times it was just one or two days before the start of play.

I's suspect that other teams pretty much have finalized their roster, just haven't done the press release thing yet... Makes dealing with things like Metu simpler. Will the summer league spurs add a body?

That sucks. Metu has been kind of disappointing so far, tbh...he has the tools, but hasn't done anything to really stand out.

Hope he doesn't lose his chance due to injury, but the NBA moves fast and he could get left behind.

I really do not think Metu has to worry about getting cut this offseason because of the need to groom a 4. We have Gay and Bertans who are legit ahead of Metu at the 4. Bertans may not stay and is not the best fit for now. Prefer Bertans at the 3. Unless Spurs can pick up a legit 4 in the offseason with more upside than miles and can contribute right away I don't see Spurs dropping Metu after putting so much work into him. They likely give him until year 3 to start contributing.

Samanic could make Metu expendable right away if he can contribute right away but it appear Samanic may not be ready for next 2 years. By then, LMA and Gay are likely gone having need for more young bigs to groom in the Spurs system, i.e. Metu. Unless Metu wants to talk and try out other programs, keeping Metu is smart. Interested to see if Moore can contribute this year.

I can imagine it’s going to be very hard for the coaches to allocate minutes for all the players. I’m sure the coaching staff is going to of course go with players who looked the best in practices but also give run to our actual rookies as opposed to the free agents trying to get noticed

I did not find a lot of rosters. First non-Spurs with four are the Trail Blazers:
Skal Labissiere, Nassir Little, Anfernee Simons and Gary Trent Jr.
I found some summer league rosters here, but a lot of teams haven't really filled out their squads yet:

I like Poirier to pan out. 6’11” 7-2 wingspan, 220lbs big body, can rebound, post, shoot deep. We need help in the middle.

For some reason, I get the feeling we are going to see Luka more on the main squad this year. He may spend some time in Austin, but considering how high RC is on him, I think he is going to be fast-tracked like Murray was.
