Bruh Why do you do this to these nice people?? Acting like you didn’t know Kawhi was LA bound since before the “injury and my mean teammates” stuff? It’s been out there.
Exactly that is why all of the people hating on the organization needed to shut up. He was leaving Texas no matter what. It had nothing to do with an injury.

The only thing is, if that were true, he could have walked away in 2015.

There was not a “reason” then. His team waited for their “excuse” took it an ran with it.

Barely beat them is an overstatement. Warriors won what 3 quarters of basketball the entire series? So missing Durant makes the warriors a JV team? What about the other 4 all stars? We beat the best regular season team and the defending champs, arguably had the toughest road to win it all this year.
Don't forget Klay Thompson missed a game, played hurt the whole series, and then tore his ACL in the 3rd quarter of a game they barely lost. Iggy played hurt, Cousins...ditto. Give the Raptors credit. But it's pretty obvious a healthy Warriors would have obliterated Toronto.

Imagine not taking the Lakers' pieces for Kawhi then the Lakers was able to get both AD and Kawhi. Sucks to be a Spurs fan now if that happens.
Stuff nightmares are made of Pop does his best to avoid the Lebron/Kawhi superteam and instead we are going to end up with Lebron/AD/Kawhi

Just a day ago he was staying with the raptors then before that the clippers then the knicks now back to the lakers. None of these people know anything about what Kawhi is going to do

Well of course there was a reason. It was the end of his contract.

If Kawhi "always" wanted to go to L.A. he would have done it then, in 2015. That's all I mean.

His alienation from the Spurs obviously came later.

Not really considering he was a restricted FA and just coming off of his rookie contract and looking for his first big pay day.

What Lakers' pieces? Do people not remember that Lakers' offers were underwhelming - they certainly did not offer for Kawhi what they offered for AD. It seems like eventually the Spurs were wiling to deal with the Lakers but never received an acceptable offer.

I don't buy any of this Lakers talk. Smith isn't credible and it doesn't fit S bag's "brand" or nature.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't re-sign with the Raptors on a short term deal. Not because they've "sold" him or he gives a about them, but because they can offer everything his sleazebag uncle brainwashed the robot into believing he should want, plus they probably have the easiest path to the '20 championship.

I suspect all these meetings are because the sleazebag loves attention, so he'll lap up the teams involved and media alike treating his lucky nephew as a pseudo James for a while, while holding the league hostage about something that's more than likely already been decided.

I'm getting what you're not getting. If Kawhi "always" wanted to leave, he could have walked away in 2015. That's simply a fact.

He didn't even take time to consider other offers. He agreed to stay with the Spurs on July 1. No time taken to even see if the Lakers, or Clippers, would make him an offer.

But the Spurs only had the right to match other offers, IIRC. Other teams could have offered him as much, including the Fakers and the Flippers.

I have a feeling Kawhi will be joining the Lakers. Just too much to turn down even if they've been a show the past few seasons.

Seems that way. Another massive Move by a superstar. I miss the 90’s so much.

That's the way it looks. His uncle Dennis became a menace. There's maybe the agent Frankel, too, after Leonard's first agent, Elfus, was fired (and is suing Impact/Uncle Dennis for not paying him.)

I don't know why people think that where Leonard goes now says anything about the Spurs. We're way beyond that.

At this point, where he goes only says anything about his Uncle Dennis, and maybe his agent, and also his woman and his mother, and then Leonard himself. Maybe in that order. Lol

Leonard signing with Lakers would be the biggest slap in the face. Shot franchise has players begging to join them.

you won’t hear it on espn etc but if Raptors had OG taking his turn on Klaymond and Cold Curry, Raps close this in 4.
