It's a lot of great signings, but I don't think the Nets will be as good next year. Durant will be out. Irving has already shown he won't take a weak roster to the playoffs and Jordan has looked done a lot. Hopefully for them they gel and make some good trades to bolster the roster for 2020-2021

He’s close friends with them. I think it was just a sweetener to lure both maybe

Sean did good BUT and it might be an even bigger but than the one i wrote when its all said and done, KD might be finished and even though Kyrie is an upgrade to DLO he can go flat earth mode and flatten the Nets tbh.

Meh...how many games will the 3 of them miss? And they still have to pull together a roster out of minimums and ring-chasers. And what about the behind scenes drama between Lakers FO, Rich Paul and Uncle Dennis, AKA Rich Paul Wannabe?

High risk off-season for Sean and the Nets. Kind of surprising.

Obviously Marks and his staff have done a nice job, but let's be clear: They're mostly getting Durant and Irving because of location. You can do a horrible job and still get great players because of location (see Lakers). You can do a good job and not get them due to it (see Spurs, Jazz, etc.).

Management and coaching have been diminished and the reality is, they're either a lucky beneficiary of being in the right place at the right time or they're not.

It's a lot of great signings, but I don't think the Nets will be as good next year. Durant will be out. He was 19-21, missed a combined 65 games and had a horrible roster surrounding him.

They're not contenders next season obviously, but they will more than likely be better (too many moving parts at the moment to say definitively).

JJ Re to the Pelicans on 2-yr/$26.5M deal. David Griffin's not messing around.

Teams are collapsing and the Spurs built a juggernaut in Canada.

That'll be 3 of the top 5 players in the league on the same team. No drama if they’re winning and the load to carry won’t be a much at all with those 3 together so I don’t see them missing that many games altogether. But I still don’t see them winning it all. I’m just glad the warriors are done. Atleast for now

Weird signing for the Pelicans. They obviously need shooting (and probably feel they need veteran leadership too), but were already overloaded at guard and have a gaping hole at center.

Now Holiday presumably goes back to PG, Ball becomes the third guard in a three guard rotation (that should go over well), Alexander-Walker gets buried, Hart spells Ingram and Moore gets traded.

Hoping Kawhi either stays put or goes to the Clippers, not the Lakers. Ideally, Butler goes to Miami instead of Houston too.
