Sounds like it. Orlando is already jammed with similar, better players, so it's not like Aminu is choosing playing time or being a contender

Seems like Spurs could have been in play had they wanted
Now I wonder if the Spurs are prioritizing 2021 cap space over everything. Aminu probably would have started from day 1 here.

    Kaminsky and(?)/or Stanley Johnson... watch
Kaminsky is the perfect non-producer for the Suicide Line-up.

If a front office can talk themselves into thinking Mills at 12:01 4/50 is a great deal, they can talk themselves into Frank the Tank at the MLE

Losing 18 point leads wasn't good enough, got to lose 25 point leads

Couldn't the Spurs have essentially matched that Aminu contract with a 3-year full MLE deal?
Yeah, 28.5 mil. Local tax makes it better to sign in SA. However, I don't think the Spurs want these guys for 3 years though.

You don't think the Spurs made an offer? Like the dude doesn't ultimately decide where he wants to play?

I remember when the summer of '17 was our year, then it was the next, and the next, and now it's 2021....

I saw a tweet earlier that talked about how around 2005-2006 the entire salary cap was just over 50 million, and now we have individual players on the verge of making that much in a season. This adds a whole new level of laughter to the fact that Houston will be paying CP3 44 million per season soon enough, almost the entire salary cap in 2006. :rofl At least we don’t have that contract. Damn.
Oh, and I forgot to mention Lillard’s contract.. 50M on the final year? Damn. Honestly, fatty’s contract would’ve been fair had he been providing what he did in 14. But no, so him.

I think the Spurs only have 1 roster spot left if they keep Metu, right? So maybe just one of those guys for the full MLE

If Oladipo returns healthy, Indiana has a really nice roster, tbh..not a contender, but a 2nd tier team..

Great move for Utah, they desperately needed more shooting..probably need 1 more defensive forward to complete their bench..

There were already tweets earlier that the spurs among another teams were interested. Just think it's funny watching dudes on ST cry about spurs not getting players they had no money for and then pointing to 1 guy who signed for the MLE as if it was a certain lock he was coming to SA if they offered the same as Orlando. People act like spurs are just sitting on their hands when in reality SA is a boring place and given the same money players would likely sign elsewhere.

    Aminu signed for the MLE
And that's still more money than he deserves
