Uncle is calling the shots, not Kawhi, that much is obvious.
Like I said earlier .. with kawhi on the lakers we will at least get some good uncle Dennis the menace stories leaked by the lakers /LA media lmao

Raptors fans so over this wait.![]()
i'll stay. but i won't be insufferable like the other laker fans on here. have no interest in a lakers forum. ready to get my team changed if kawhi changes teams.
if spurs move demar then it'll be big step in getting in my good graces again. i still want them to succeed.
If you feel like getting depressed and read exactly what we were saying in here over a period of 4 months last year (from sources, sister's social media, uncle signs of intent, denial, ing,crying,blaming)...judge for yourself...

And that's from just today, they've been at it for 3 days straight.
Every team that investigated prior to the Spurs trading him thought Neph was heading to Los Angeles. His camp didn't make that a secret. The Raptors learned the same but thought they could sway him with a strong season. I guess a championship wasn't quite enough.
I didn't hear Clippers as much as I heard L.A. ... and I assumed that meant Clippers, tbh.
Well if he goes to LA then technically they were being honest and upfront, if even a championship can't prevent it from happening. The honesty about where he wanted to go is what hurt the Spurs trade leverage.
are we ever going to get a run down on what exactly happened..
Should be rather clear it was a holdout.
No - honest and up front is coming to the FO while honoring your obligations.
B-b-but tendinopathy. -- spurstalk
Nah that would be the honorable and moral thing to do but saying I want to be traded to LA and that's the only place I'll re-sign is honest. It'd only be dishonest if he actually didn't want to go to LA and only used it as a way to get out and screw the Spurs (knowing no way Pop would trade him to the Lakers)
Also everyone putting it on Uncle Dennis, don't overlook the GF as well. She's from So. Cal and probably wanted him to go back there, apparently she hated it in Toronto (according to Raptor fans). Never underestimate that kind of influence. Same thing with his best friend that follows him to every team.
If he would've played out his contract he would've accomplished the same goal in the same timeframe. The holdout and dragging the most conservative, revered organization in sports through the mud makes him and his group huge pieces of .
Well demanding a trade would have gotten him there a year earlier. I guess we can look at it as would we rather have 1 year of Kawhi or DD, Poeltl and Keldon
Clippers is fine. Going to the lakers is the ultimate beta autist move though.
But Good news, no official announcement yet and the lakers meeting is over. Tomorrow Clips meeting and i suspect Raptord Wed.
Announcement will probably happen in the weekend
This. Plain and simple. Lesson learned, don't draft an autistic POS.
If good old number 2 is officially done in Toronto, they might as well close the doors of the organization right now. Think about it. The only way they were able to get their hands on a top-flight superstar was benefiting from one of the shadiest most underhanded behind the scenes fiascos in league history. Things go better than anyone could have possibly imagined with that superstar. You win the championship, and you still couldn’t retain his services LOL. That’s it. Close the doors. Nobody wants to play there.
Pretty much. His uncle is a human.
Know your worth, bottom
They didn't go about it the right way with the trade demand either. They made it personal by attacking Tony, Pop, the medical staff, and the organization as a whole. How many other stars have taken it that far with a team that they demanded a trade from?
After you are done sucking Kawhi's , you can come and kiss my balls, tbh.
That is all true..,but Kawhi knows he can’t or won’t win it all again by himself too. He knows he’s got that bad leg and can’t afford to miss 20 games in the West. In a way I feel Kawhi, AD and Bron all kinda need each to achieve their goals and that’s championships.
At the end of the day that’s the only Kawhi wants..and I think he’s willing to deal with what you mentioned if it pretty much guaranteed another ring or two.
You have to love how the media tries to shape the narrative in situations like this. As if the only way a player can truly build their legacy is to sign with the Lakers. My God the ing media.
If that is the case I hope they choke most of the season on load ing management. Then get their asses kicked by a team with more depth in the playoffs.
