The spurs are operating over the cap. That's why people need to quit ing about all these guys getting paid more than what we can even offer (in b4 b-b-but Aminu). Spurs only real option to open up space would be to trade one of LA or Derozan which likely isn't going to happen.

I wanted Cousins when the Kings were looking to trade him. I really wanted him before he went to the Pelicans, but if we can get him now for a cheap deal, I'd be happier with that as it was a big risk trying to get him when he was on max money. I think Pop can get the best out of him. Demarcus and Russell Westbrook are two players I think Pop can get the best out of if they were to listen to him and buy in. I think they both need the type of hard ass coach like Pop is to push them to their best level and utilize all the talent they have.
Anyway, what is the talk about Demar reaching out to him? Was it Demar? I would have thought that is would be Rudy since Rudy played with him on the Kings. Anyone know if Demar is actually friends with him?
I have a feeling he's waiting to see where Kawhi goes, which sucks if he's interested and we don't get him due to Kawhi.
I wish sa would waive Metu or trade Beli. There are tons of solid players definitely better than who SA has now that are being had at incredible values.

hey look the dudes behaved pretty good too lately. Woj is saying this not some hack. The Spurs have taken chances on other head cases in the past such as rodman but please tell me this signing would not complete the Spurs lineup making so many parts interchangeable. LA prefers to play power forward if I recall anyway but we do have some extra wings and if we could trade Bertans who there is most definitely a taker or even better mills or dream come true would be both to a team that needs shooters I'd be willing to give him either 6 mill one year or try and tempt him with like 20 mill two years. Call me me crazy but with LA DD and Boogie they don't need to be super superstars alla AD LBJ and possibly Kawtter cause with the rest of the depth we would have and interchangeable pieces a healthy Murray I think we could come out of the west even against that super team (if it forms). It gives us our best shot and tell me you all wouldn't salivate after having to watch that loser kawitter win a chip to have the opportunity to ruin his super team and knock him the out. And no I don't think boogie is the boogie of 3 years ago but he wouldn't have to be. Him and LA the Poetyrl (spelling). This has me dreaming.
Say what you want but the Spurs way can keep boogie in check pop can definitely....and he can play Spurs ball he is a very good passer shooters to shoot he can shoot the three it poses problems to play def on them let alone our def with those two and Murray wow.... Please let this happen basketball gods I beg you!!!!
