These players don't care about team rivalries. They want their money. They are mercenaries now more than ever. It's not a good thing IMHO.

The Mavies just paid $158MM for a guy who may be damaged goods and are now picking up leftovers. They rarely draft well and develop players. They aren't as knee jerk as Houston, but they have their moments.
Cuban is a businessman, and Boban is a money-maker. He has been a fan favorite everywhere he goes.

I would have enjoyed seeing Boban back here, but he has his limitations regarding mobility. He's actually a really good guy from everything I've seen. An added plus - a nice bad guy role in John Wick 3.......

Does the Boban signing effect them signing Green now?

Memphis has agreed to trade Chandler Parsons to Atlanta for Solomon Hill and Miles Plumlee, league sources tell ESPN.

Memphis and Parsons were unable to agree on a buyout number, so Grizzlies made the trade with Atlanta. As BobbyMarks42 says, it's easier to move out salaries by breaking Parsons' $25M into two smaller contracts. Hawks free a roster spot.
Glad for Memphis able to finally get out of that deal without unloading picks, which was counterproductive for a rebuilding team. I thought they were never going to be able to move it.

Is there enough free agents left for the Lakers to even sign at this point? If Leonard is headed there he’s ed that team.

If Leonard ditches lakers, they have no one to pick up and no assets to trade. Danny Green should hold off.

My only hope is that he is taking his sweet-ass time just to weaken the Lakers odds in free agency, then ends up going to the Clips or (preferably) stays in Toronto.

But knowing Nephew, he is just being a stubborn little and is holding off his decision because he knows everyone wants to know, and he will still end up going to the Lakers.

If he does end up going to the Lakers, he's definitely hurt their own odds in the process.

Not really. If he goes to the Lakers, they could fill out the rest of the roster with scrubs from the Chinese league and still coast to easy, anti-compe ive rings.

Isn't Korver like 68 years old?

Supposedly Memphis is looking at possibly trading Avery Bradley. If they take Mills not Belinelli then sign me up.

I would trade both of them for Bradley.
