Seriously. That guy's drama was the worst. It was a complete drag and I'm glad he's gone. Are we a contender now? No, but it's fun going to games again and building a team.

I say that kindly because if you like "Tonight's The Night" you can't be all bad. I saw the show where I think that cover picture was taken in England. Now I'm gonna have "Mellow My Mind" on the brain all night....which ain't so bad...one of my faves.

I'm way late on the Neil Young game, but it's always nice to "discover" albums that I somehow missed earlier in life. Tonight's the Night is like a narcotic for the ears...MMM and Borrowed Tune are the best songs imo

Some of those late 1970 albums weren't widely available until streaming recently

Yeah never too late for that music. It's the real deal, without any glitter. Yeah "Borrowed Tune" is sublime.....thanks Stones!

From a character standpoint it actually matters to me who is on this team. Especially when you’re talking about the franchise player. I don’t give a damn how good he is. I don’t want him around. You guys get him and if he sticks around for a few years, you’ll get a taste of what he did in San Antonio with his diva bull . Inevitable. Load mgt. get used to it..

The Spurs won five championships with my favorite basketball player of all time Tim Duncan as the leader. So I can handle not winning championships for quite a long period of time with this guy off the team. I can’t stand what he did.

Go to Neal Young Archives and everything he's ever done is there including a lot of previously unreleased stuff. It's a newspaper, music, films.....you name it, it's there. Also the quality of the music is much better than any mp3 streaming service...many times over really. He and his crew are pretty fanatical about it....which is great.

Pretty much this. I grew up during the 90's and remember as a kid being in tears when the Rockets took out the Spurs in '95. I never thought the Spurs would even win 1 le back then. They have exceeded my expectations by huge margin. I feel right now I'm just playing with house money and if they never win a le again I will be fine granted I hope they do. Like you said just glad not to have to deal with this re s drama anymore.

That's it really. For 20 years we were the most winning team in all sports. That's quite a run...thanks Tim Duncan. I'm perfectly cool with watching the team grow without the drama bull .

It's also a lot of money I'm saving in the playoffs- haha. I went to France this year...next year Spain!

Okay, I'll bite. I've got some disturbing news for you. Kawhi is gone. He forced a trade and he is not coming back...ever. He took a fortune of $20 million from the Spurs to rehab for a year and then said 'I don't want to play out my last contractual season.' The Spurs let him go, to the best team in the East no less. They had to move on. Do you really think there are Spurs fans or members of the organization that are sitting around thinking about him coming back? I can't stand him or his uncle and don't want, or think about, him coming back.

Now I do find the whole subject interesting, especially when there is nothing else going on. Hating on Kawhi is an easy enough, but there is nothing to it really. I'm not even sure who is my favorite team for him to go to. Whoever it is it would be in relation to how it will affect the Spurs I guess. I don't really have any thoughts on that except the Lakers would be pretty stacked and the team to hate. He's staying in TO I'm thinking.

Its very obvious Dennis and his camp care so little about kawhis legacy. They're pushing hard to get him to LA lakers.

Cris carter was practiclly begging him to go to la lakers this morning.

And my issue with all of that crap remains other players constantly following suit with this superteam bull . It’s terrible for the NBA. This lack of compe ion will destroy the league. LeBron and Durant Really set something awful in motion.

Some no life loser found kawhis plane. Travelling to san diego right now. Same guys who got hold of kawhis plan to toronto.

Doesnt look good for toronto if hes travelling to San Diego before announcing anything and before july 6th. Lakers signing is the only possible explanation

Such a shame that Kawhi allowed Dennis to dictate his career. Seems like hes lakers bound now. Maybe slight chance the clippers.

You'd think BSPN would be upset about the carbon footprint #2 and Uncle Fester are creating with all these cross country flights on the private jets.

Not saying he’s going back to Toronto but he lives in California. It’s the off-season. He can announce he’s returning to the Raptors without staying in Toronto. He doesn’t live in Toronto.
