Gotta feel for the Raptors a little. They might as well close up shop TBH. They got a Superstar player thanks to one of the shadiest situations in league history, take it all the way to the top, and still could not get him to stay. Truly nobody wants to play there..

No we don't. those Canucks, their caring coach, their attentive medical staff, and their adoring fans.

When a guy wins a Championship, gets a chance to come back to a virtually intact team for a lot more money, and still bolts? What are the chances they attract another superstar to come play with Fred ing VanVleet? Pretty much zero. Who's crying now, you ing showbirds?

Yeah that is what I am saying nobody wants to be there. The highs and lows. And now they are in the basement. No chance to win the East next season. And For Westbrook LOL!!!!!! Nobody and I mean nobody in the whole league wants to play with you...

Well considering his history he might even be glad. More stats for him.

I also had that thought just as I was posting. Maybe Russ will want out, but maybe OKC will want to get off the Westchuck Treadmill. We shall see.

From a team that had such big names and so much talent, what - 5 years ago - OKC is on the verge of going into Charlotte mode.

Westbrook not gonna be happy to find out he was trade fodder...

Unless Presti played 3d chess and clued him in...

    1
Bro the whole organization allowed Westbrook to chase after triple doubles, gain popularity, helped him win m1vp despite onky being a roughly top 15 player, and he always craps the bed in the playoffs. At some point a billion dollar company has to cut ties somehow. His contract is horrible.

Kawhi is the best example of how the fans will always protect you, as long as you shut up and dribble and don't divert their attention away from basketball, tbh..

Even his increasingly Harden-like game hasn't deterred them..

    Real G’s move in silence

LMAO! Christmas in July. Autist ed over Toronto, Lakers, AND the Clippers.

Kawhi: I'll only come if you'll also sign Paul George.
West: Whatever you want Kawhi. We'll mortgage the future for you. We can put three G-Leaguers in the SL with you, and you'll still win the LOB.
Toronto didn’t get ed over. They knew what they were risking when they made the trade but they got a le out of it. Clippers have a chance to win now. They’re not coming out the loaded west with just Kawhi and no other star. The league would have been screwed had he joined the lakers that’s just another superteam that’s going to dominate for Atleast the next 3-5 years. Have a proper balance in the league now.

Yeah, I'm with you all except the part about feeling sorry for them. 'em and their load management - as if the Spurs never thought of giving their best players nights off when they need it.

They made the trade to win a championship. It worked out. Just so happens it was for only one season.

Nope. Toronto got ed over. When you surround a guy with Championship talent, give him every B2B night off, bench blowjobs, whatever he wants - then you offer him the biggest contract possible, and promise him anything else he wants? When the city promises him anything, including a luxury condo or whatever the , free meals, keys to the city? There is every reason for them to expect him to stay and go for the repeat, three-peat, etc.

Kawhi ed Toronto over. And that makes me smile a little.

    Exactly.

Yep, this feels as good as it possibly could. ed the sanctimonious Canucks AND the still-arrogant Lakers AND went to a team with karma almost as bad as Portland’s. I don’t see the Clips winning the LOB at all.

I can’t tell you how relevant and true the Dennis system is to Kawhi/Uncle Dennis system. Scary.

The Raptors got a le, can't hate on Kawhi for anything else afterwards..

I'm interested in seeing how the media and fans portray him going forward, though..he's done far worse than anything LeBron or Durant have ever done..
