Do you even want a guy like that in your team anyway? Dude would have probably ed up chemistry in other ways.

Blessing in disguise, who knows... Give me guys with a minimum of ethics i can somehow cheer for... not faithless mercenaries.

WOJ has a tweet up that talks about how the Knicks handled Bullock’s (spelling?) situation.
No mention, however, about the classless way they just shoved their nose in the middle of our verbal commitment with MM.
Dolan is an ass and a laughingstock. It's not even possible for him to be respected, so there is no upside for him to act right.

If he winds up leaving, who's the bigger asshole now: Load Management or Morris?

Where did I say it wasn't a big deal? I was directing that comment at those saying the Spurs should bail on Dejounte Murray due to his connection to Klutch. Sure, Klutch is wrong but you don't take it out on Murray.
Isn't it a bad look for Murray to stay with Klutch though? Especially if the Spurs blackball them.

Now is the time for the "team leader" to stand up for his team. Show us that all the loyalty talk on instagram is legit.

Wow, even Load Management would think this is a move, tbh.

Different flavor of the same ice cream. I haven't said Kawhi today. Kawhi.

WOJ has a tweet up that talks about how the Knicks handled Bullock’s (spelling?) situation in such a classy way.
No mention, however, about the classless way they just shoved their nose in the middle of our verbal commitment with MM.
    From ESPN.com:

"Agent David Bauman and the Knicks are re-evaluating Bullock's fitness to play a full season in 2019-20.

In a brief conversation with ESPN, Bauman was complimentary of how the Knicks handled an emerging situation with Bullock, citing how accommodating ownership, front office and medical staff had been with the player's situation.

    "First-class throughout," Bauman said."

Just play Keldon more tbh. I'm not losing a ing second of sleep over Marcus F'n Morris
White & Walker are still on the team as far as I'm concerned.

load management sat out and entire year while accepting 18 mil only to demand a trade to a specific city which killed his trade value

yeah classy is telling the player the original deal is void, but we can give you much less money. Josh Huestis got hurt in a pickup game and the Spurs signed him and provided health care insurance and rehab services. That’s classy.

I'm not saying "dump" him, but if he does well, and you get offers, you move on, and don't deal with Klutch any more. RP seems to have a hard on for Pop after the Demps phone call.
Eh, a player gets offered 50% more before he signs a contract. Klutch can't make Morris sign it. I'll wait to trade Murray until we at least hear the details of how it went down.

if its more than a 1 year contract for services... then its definitely a statute of frauds issue. notwithstanding the fact that the NBA has its own rules which would supersede any common law.

i think estoppel is the way to go due to the whole detrimental reliance aspect of what the spurs suffered
"cannot be performed within one year," and the question is always *can* and not *will*. I'd think the second year option would put it outside the statute. Plus, you'd want the contract claim in Texas because you get attorney's fees by statute while you don't for any kind of equitable theory like PE. Plus, if memory serves, PE has been whittled down to narrow scenarios if I remember right.

Just give the minutes to Keldon/Luka. If someone like Iguodala gets bought out at mid-season, then throw the MLE at him.

I mean would the Spurs still want him?

What the are the Knicks actually doing anyway. what the does one year of Marcus Morris do for them?
Uncle Dennis and KL have more power than we thought. They want to make sure the Spurs don't have anyone on the roster that might be able to guard him.

Boozer lied to a blind owner, telling him to release him from his contract and then he'd re-sign to a longer term deal. Instead, the blind owner released Boozer from his contract and Boozer signed with the Jazz instead

This is bad but Boozer is still worse, tbh.
Yeah, that situation is why I didn't feel bad when Derek Fisher duped the Jazz into releasing him (so he could be with his daughter). Only for him to turn around and re-sign with the Lakers (and make three straight Finals).

    LOL
