That’s not even in the ballpark of me saying the judge called the Mueller report false
not the report in its entirety, no. but the portion linking IRA to the Kremlin? you said the judge called that false. he didn't. the judge just noted that those allegations weren't raised in the indictment. there's no reason why they should have or must have been included. for the purpose of the indictment, the charges are for the conduct of IRA, irrespective of whether or not they were at the direction of the kremlin. for the purpose of mueller's broader report into election interference, kremlin connections are material.

the judge didnt raise any concern over it... at all.

the issue is that they publicly waived around a conclusion that the IRA committed said crimes before their trial took place, which is a no-no. the court ruled in their favor saying that part of the report shouldnt have been public. mueller/barr should have had that portion redacted as there was a pending criminal matter

TSA now you're just being disingenuous

    "killed your own claim"

i mean, whether or not they were held in contempt is irrelevant to TSA's claim of whether or not the judge called elements of the Mueller report false.

but the judge never said anything that even approaches that. the judge just noted that this indictment does not allege that the IRA was acting on behalf of the russian government, whereas the mueller report does. but there's no reason why they would have to allege that in this indictment. they're charging the IRA, not the russian government, in this case.

as long as they did the acts alleged, they're guilty, regardless of whether or not it was at the direction of the russian government
oh, i have no idea. i imagine they would abstain from that for diplomatic reasons. but in either version, if the charges are the same, then who they were acting in the direction of what be immaterial to those charges.

you're free to point me to where the judge said that a certain part of mueller's report was false, as you originally claimed
the judge never stated that the mueller report's claim that IRA was Kremlin-backed was false, which you claimed he did

    Agree to disagree

Judge: Mueller report alleges activities in indictment were at the direction of the Kremlin

Judge: indictment does not allege activities were at the direction of the Kremlin

those are objectively true. but nowhere does the judge show any concern about that, or even imply that the mueller report contained an inaccuracy... meanwhile you claim the judge on one of mueller's central claims and outright claimed that the report was false with respect to the link between the IRA and kremlin

Yeah, it’s always the same MO. He’s proven wrong on a claim and goes for the gotcha question doubling down on stupid.

Tried to pull the same stunt on the other thread.

When he asks “yes or no”, you know he’s cornered and trying you to debate Twitter...

its always a red flag when hacky journalists are making such outrageous claims over legal proceedings like that... legal/judicial reporting can be difficult to nail for journalists, similar to those reporting when a new scientific study comes out.

add in that kind of partisan tone, and you know its probably bull

Sater told reporters during his break that the interview covered little in the way of new information about his links to Trumpworld that have not already trickled out in the press, or in the special counsel’s report.

But he added: “We did cover a new topic.”

Asked what the topic was, Sater said, “Glenn Simpson perjuring himself at the Judiciary Committee on two occasions.”

When asked what topic Simpson might have perjured himself on, Sater replied: “Me, specifically, and the fact that that’s what motivated him to start investigating, when it was actually the fact that he was working for Veselnitskaya, if anybody knows that.”

‘What’s happening with Michael Flynn?’ Reporter reveals why Trump’s ex-national security adviser is ‘looking at jail’

Gerstein said the plea agreement has always been on shaky ground since Flynn agreed to cooperate, but his relationship with prosecutors broke down when he hired a new legal team.

“Michael Flynn has backed off planned testimony in a federal case against a former business associate,” explained co-host Mika Brzezinski.

“Flynn was set to be the government’s star witness at that trial, which deals with foreign lobbying work,

however, the prosecution now suggests in court filings that

they do not believe Flynn would tell the truth on the stand.

They now believe he is a co-conspirator, rather than a cooperating witness.”

Gerstein said the plea agreement has always been on shaky ground since Flynn agreed to cooperate,

but his relationship with prosecutors broke down when he hired a new legal team.

“Something has to give, and now just in the last week, it turns out

    what’s giving is that

prosecutors say Flynn is shifting in his testimony about some of his conduct.

They now don’t trust him enough to put him on the stand, and

he may not testify at this trial that is supposed to begin next week,

which is the whole reason his sentencing has been postponed for the last several months.”

The breakdown now puts Flynn at risk of jail time, which he probably would have avoided if he’d fully cooperated.

Gerstein said the former Trump campaign adviser may be setting himself up for a pardon.

Far right's Seth Rich conspiracy claims were planted by Russia's foreign intelligence agency

The Seth Rich conspiracy, a wide-ranging and largely incomprehensible belief, originated as a propaganda campaign from the Russian intelligence services.

It can be traced, directly,to the Russians.

Three days after Rich was murdered,

Russia's SVR crafted and spread a fake would-be "intelligence" report inventing the conspiracy outright.

It immediately spread to the conspiracy-obsessed American far right, bounced quickly to the usual suspects of

Alex Jones, Roger Stone, and Fox News, SPURSTALK ,

eventually leading to its promotion by the Trump inner circle itself, e.g. Steve Bannon, and

by the ever-odious propagandist Sean Hannity.

There was never a s ch of truth to it—

it was a scam set up by Russian intelligence to divert blame for their own hacking of the DNC.
