He is not a ball stopper but he is a gunner.
However he is great off imovement, off ball making cuts.
If Bron is playing PG he can eat off easy cutter plays with the attention generated by AD and Bron
Personally Cousins should be sitting for McGee or AD should play center but like your Tim he loathes the role and we need him healthy...and banging against Jokic would be troublesome

LBJ, AD and year 2 of post Achilles Boogie Cousins. He should be better this (contract) year. He'll be featured and depended upon in LA, unlike with the Dubs.
Kuz will be a 4th option facing no better than a 3rd best defender every night instead of a team's best. He was our 2nd option last year and #1 the year before that. All that has changed now.

DG and AB would clearly be our best perimeter defenders, but AD don't want to play the 5 that much. Gotta swap AB for Boogie, for balance, at least initially.
Having 3 and D players like DG (arguably the best defensive SG in the league) will help us. Just gotta somehow get Iggy and we'd be set.
We'll see, but if Cousins was still anywhere near the player you're hyping him up to be, he'd have signed with a team way sooner than he did and for a lot more money.

Not hyping him. It's a fact that in year 2 post Achilles players are closer to themselves. His physical condition isn't the only reason he came to LA and didn't get max offers. He's still a headcase
Also, he is needed in LA. Not so much with the Dubs. With the Dubs he had to come in ready to go knowing Kerr would yank him at any second. Hard to get a rhythm that way. With the Lakers, unless he's not healthy, I'm expecting 25-30mpg (with Javelle McGee getting the scraps; AD at the 5 to close games). He'll have plenty of opportunities in LA. Hope he takes advantage.
