Seems to me the knicks and morris are hoping the Spurs blink and sign someone else so they can both save face...he's not coming to SA imo, there is nothing to wait for and now it seems like the more time goes by the less the chance of signing him.

Yea I think you spot on. Spurs playing it smart losing him probably inevitable at this point but not rescinding is leaving him out to hang just giving him enough rope to hang himself if he chooses. Actually smart by Patfo. And I'm sure if something opened up for the spurs then pop and r.c. would pounce on it and tell him to eff off til then let him get the black eye. His type may not care but it's never a good thing in the league and for your career in general.
