I actually didn't take any shots at who #2 was going out with. My original post to which the previous poster responded to had nothing to do with #2's girlfriend. Don't know why you are acting all defensive about it.

If he "simply told the Spurs" then how did everyone, including people on this board, find out about it? No. He(or his group, you decide) made it known publicly that he wanted to play in Los Angeles, sabotaging his trade value for the Spurs. The fact that he left the Raptors for Los Angeles after winning a championship confirms it. That's the problem I, and many others, legitimately have with nephew(his group). He(and/or they) burned the Spurs on the way out by making their "preference" public and painting the Spurs into a corner.I fail to see how the Spurs incompetency that led to a trade demand relates to the Raptors championship rental/contract dump but then you're a bitter ass like Missy.
Had Kawhi refused to play for the Raptors & demanded a trade to the Lakers then you would have a point but he chose to sign with the Clippers as a FREE AGENT after playing out his contract since he was ACTUALLY healthy enough to play at a high-level. He simply told the Spurs he wanted to play in his hometown AFTER the bridge burned but PATFO ed themselves over b/c of a grudge against the Lakers. But then muphuckas out here claiming he was never hurt when he's out there limping even with load management & proper treatment this past season.....it isn't as if he didn't look like in those 9 games he played in '17-'18.
Had Durant been on the Sperms & didn't return to rapture his achillies before bailing for BK then folks on ST would have been saying he quit on the team when he was sitting out games b/c of a "calf strain".

Seems like you are, actually. I responded, specifically, to the statement that Kawhi "simply told the Spurs" he wanted to be traded. I don't think that's true. I think he(his group) requested a trade, let them know he'd only agree long-term to a trade to Los Angeles and then released that to the media, leaving the Spurs with limited options. Not saying the Spurs made all the right choices or are blameless, but Kawhi(his group) isn't either.
If you think AD also sabotaged his trade value with the Pelicans we can talk about that, I guess. Not what was being discussed though.

Hmm. I'm not an expert on intellectual property law by any means. If he signed it over to Nike, he's definitely screwed.
He admitted it was theirs in an interview, he's ed. "Making KL from the fingers" was his idea but the actual final product belongs to Nike. He was just stupid for not going outside and hiring a seperate design company. All these people advising him and he didn't once get the advice to trademark his own logo.

Just one more data point about how great an agent / rep Dennis the Menace is. Not only did he cost dear nephew $120 million in salary by forcing the SA trade and then walking from Toronto, he just cost him untold millions of endorsement revenue from Nike.
