Besides a trade we could all love and agree on this is the best news possible for the spurs organisation and it's fans. Oh and let's not 4get Nike only thing better that could go our way besides eliminating him from playoffs is if Nike wins such a large suit that it actually puts a dent in his earnings. This please. As a small market team the Spurs don’t have media defend them when shady things happen to the franchise. The large market teams & media cohorts who are in their back pockets financially prey on these situations. Be the hero that the Spurs community needs.
Yeah I know he's grown and as much to blame as Uncle Dennis but who ultimately has the most to lose out of all of this.
Kawhi is being led willingly by his uncle but I'm sure its for the betterment of Dennis rather than Kawhi.

The Clippers never needed to do anything dodgy to get him there. Dennis wanted him to have his own team in a big market - the Clippers were the only option. The only thing they had to do was trade an emerging star & a million draft picks to get a co-superstar who's not quite as good as Kawhi.
KD would disagree. Paul George is clearly the superior player.

Can uncle Dennis be fined just for asking for this ridiculous stuff? Will anyone from the Spurs, Raptors and/or Lakers go on record if an investigation comes about? Going to be hard to prove the Clippers provided what the others didn’t.

Dennis is officially Kawhi's agent, isn't he? Soliciting the team for stuff like guaranteed endorsement money is seriously off limits. If even a little of it is verifiable, I think he gets fined and can't be an NBA agent anymore - at the very least.
It's kind of funny that the other teams didn't appear to report it until after Kawhi turned them down.
