It sure as was at the MGM. You’re right, they cheaped out by not getting a helicopter to one of the many proper L1 centers in the area.
That's ed up. Was he fighting at the MGM? That's actually in Maryland and there's a ing great hospital across the Potomac in Virginia. Fairfax Hospital. Only 15 min away.
that MGM. They couldn't even afford a ing helicopter ride?
I been to that MGM a couple months ago and it's a hole. Full of hood nigas, it's actually in the middle of the hood and they charge abou $25 a drink in the casino!
Plus that place is cursed imo. A little girl got electrocuted there and died last year and now this.
that cursed place

Holy
Almost exactly a year ago
Zynae Green was 6 years old when, while with her family at the MGM National Harbor resort and casino on June 26, she grabbed a "dangerously electrified" staircase railing as she and her siblings made their way down to a large outdoor fountain, according to a complaint filed Monday by the family's lawyers.
Zynae went into cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated before being transported to a hospital. She suffered "severe and permanent neurological injuries," the complaint said.
I guess she didn't die but is a vegetable

The Kremlin is now investigating...
http://rusboxing.ru/news/federation-news/26473/
The Russian Boxing Federation has begun an investigation into the cir stances that led to the death of 28-year-old Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev, who spent his last fight on the night of July 20 in the United States with Puerto Rican Subriel Matias. This was stated by the Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Umar Kremlev.
- We lost today Maxim Dadashev. Our pupil. We will fully support his family, including financially. We will complete the investigation into the cir stances surrounding this fight, we need to know the truth about what happened. This happens in any sport. I think some human factor intervened, there was some kind of violation. We will be always near his family, we will not leave them, - the Kremlin declared.
The fight for the right to become a mandatory challenger for the IBF world junior welterweight le ended in the 11th round. The decision to stop the fight took the corner of the Russians. After the fight, Dadashev, whose condition worsened, was taken to hospital. Doctors diagnosed cerebral edema, was a difficult operation. On Tuesday, the athlete's heart stopped.
In the professional ring, Dadashev had 14 fights, losing only to Matthias.
Truth.. Max Kellerman called it a "guilty pleasure"
The boxers, past and present could easily strive for change to headgear. They don't b/c they don't want to make one fifth of the money. Dadashev's corner needed to be smarter and call that way ing sooner. They also could've instructed him to dance way more instead of trying to match a guy hitting much harder punch for punch if they wanted to save some face and take it into a later round before throwing the towel. It was amateur hour. His corner deserves way more criticism. I actually give credit to Dadashev for being a warrior otherwise and getting as far as he did against the odds.
When did you become aware that the unverified Christopher Steel dossier was used in attaining the FISA application? (And related questions)
Grandpa Bob shuts down. What a ing joke.
If Russia wasn't such a hole country then maybe Dadashev wouldn't have to of died trying to get his family into the United States.
i used to love the full headgear with mouth guard during sparring sessions but i don't think it's adequate during compe ion. you got a bit of blind spots with it, pressure on the face and head, as well as making it harder to breathe. i never did compe ions though but sparring was hard enough with that gear on even though i liked having it on.
Point is to score points, tbh. The tko exists to prevent it fr getting to that point where a boxer will get KOd or seriously injured. A ref should have stopped the fight upon seeing the clear disparity in skill and the damage he was taking.
I caught this fight as by-catch at and it was just jarring seeing how he was wobbly walking in the arena. Hopefully he'll be alright in terms of life.
Unfortunately, he died
savage...
But yeah he's in heaven, chugging God's best vodkas rn. Unfortunately the sport will definitely suffer, as Russia will demand we treat fighters better with all the mistakes made on this one. Maybe it will become safer, who knows
This is on his corner and the ref...sometimes boxers need to be saved from themselves
Another boxer died. Hugo Santillan, Argie, 23 years old.

Agree. But I don't think judges routinely apply that standard. The standard seems to be if someone's about to black out.
At least he won the fight.
yep good thing. imagine how much worse it would've been for him had he lost...
Well, who wants to go out a loser?
They have Russian Heaven? Not sure I'd want to go if vodka is what's on tap.
Normaly I would agree but after watching the fight I just came away thinking the guys got heart and kept fighting. It wasn’t so obvious that the poor man would pass. But damn the other boxer basically put on an offensive clinic.
