The drive for 5—————————-00
KY acted like a little no way can you argue against that.
The Lakers played the "well he's coming here next year anyway. We have LeBron. Pound sand Spurs." The entire NBA lowballed the Spurs. A year ago makes a huge difference here. Boston, Lakers, Clippers should have come up with more at that time. #2 and the unc destroyed what the Spurs could get - on purpose. They wanted to make it a toxic environment by saying only two teams. Lies upon Lies upon Lies about the FO.
Once again. Will #2 play back to backs next season? Was that question asked or was the clipp event a dog and pony show.
The comments this week in LA are more words than the mute spoke his entire career in San Antonio.

he didn't last season and look how that turned out.
Shouldn't you be posting on a Clippers forum or something?
Named as the best player in the NBA by scouts, AND GMs
kawhi said he’d be at full strength this year.
if that’s the case then it’s game over.
The Pacers under Bird developed Jalen Rose, Jermaine O'Neal, Al Harrington, Danny Granger, Paul George & Oladipo all of whom MIP (even turned Roy Hibbert into an All-Star) but keep sucking off Pop who can't get out of the 1st rd without MVP candidates.
PG/Kawhi/Beverely would put DeFrozen on suicide watch.
Somewhere RC and Pop are drinking down their sorrows
They quit in Gm 7
He was clearly talking about an elite 2-way player just like himself which Tim/Enrique weren't during the 2010s.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure '15 Tim was better than Blake or the State Farm agent in the '15 series.![]()
parker was pretty elite in kawhi's early years. he was getting legit MVP votes in 2012 and 2013
2012 TP is better than 19 George
Maybe if they didn't ACTUALLY misdiagnose him then he would have left on better terms. It's not like dude wasn't out there limping after sitting out a season.![]()
Second team All NBA for three straight years (12, 13 and 14). He was elite. People forget that given how he fell off a cliff from 2014-2015 onwards.
its close considering the 2 way impact PG has (parker was an average on-ball defender at his position)... but parker was really carrying the load on offense and truly was the engine. just watching him run that loop play over and over again was exhausting
he was routinely shredding CP3 during those years too
honestly he fell off the cliff at some point during the 13-14 season. i dont remember if there was a particular injury, but he no longer had the explosion and became more of a ballstopper, and it was around the time kawhi really began to emerge, to the point where parker possessions became frustrating (and apa/harlem/fkla would start daily threads about parker)
just dug up this gemhttps://www.spurstalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=244933
he was still a good player but not the guy you wanted running the whole offense anymore. his decline going forward was pretty ugly. thats why getting his 3/43 contract right after the finals was disappointing. it was clear he was on a downward trajectory
for s and giggles, there was this one too

If he didn't have any gripes such as being misdiagnosed & his only agenda was to end up in LA by all means necessary then care to explain why he didn't push his way out of Toronto instead of playing out his contract?
Not to mention he could have left as a free agent in the summer of 2015 instead, he didn't even considering singing with another team. Something tells me there was a mishap that caused the relationship to deteriorate.
All things being equal, he was going to sign in LA when he became a free-agent just like he did this summer but him asking out stemmed from the relationship being frosty rather than simply trying to force his way to LA like Davis.
Basically, if he hadn't been misdiagnose & PATFO hadn't doubled down by giving 100 mill to Fatty/Pau then he would have most likely played out his contract then moved on to LA.
