Nor have I.
......this is a true story.
We had just did our (USS Horne) 30 days off the coast of Viet Nam with our nightly illumnious s ings job. We turned night into day so the ground forces could do their thing.
It was 30 days in the "war zone'" then about a week of R&R, that went on for six months then back to San Diego for six months then....
Anyway....
We would pull into Hong Kong in the morning, I;d never been there before (obviously) and was pretty excited about it (19) and just happened to have the watch that morning (lucky me). So there I stood on the wing of the bridge with my binoculars knowing Hong Kong was just miles away. Any minute now, real soon and what was the first thing I saw over the junks...........MCDONALDS...yep, the golden archs. Talk about a huge let down, sheesh~~~~~~~
We spent a week there, and of all the places we hit over there HK/Kowloon was the best.
By the way, I have never ate at a McDonalds.

I;m a Carl's Jr, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, guy. IF....no family owned restaurant around (actually the best food out there)
I want to see if the impossible can be done here, a thread where no asshole s it up.
The best burgers and fries I ever consistently had were at two family owned restaurants in the town I grew up at. They're both gone now though; and the family owned restaurants in my current town I'm now in serve dog food.
If a place had been there for a long time with the same family owners it's only because of repeat customers so that means great food/enviornment.
I want to sit down, glance over a menu as opposed to standing in some line or drive up.
Best food I have ever ate was at those small family owned joints. Tons of Mexican restaurants family owned for decades.

Actually this thread was set up to show what we really have here at THE CLUB. So to talk about people being pinked/banned when guys like you do absolutely nothing but what you just did makes no sense. I knew my thread topic would be ignored that is to be expected "here".
What really needs to happen is unless you pull your weight and post threads instead of just being a tagalong you are banned. A thread a month or leave.

I've never known a known pedophile. So I'm really not sure how I would act if in contact with the freak. I'm guessing I'd do my best to stay as far away as possible. There is nothing more disturbing that this, it is the ultimate wrong in my book.
