He mustn't have seen that wiki article yet.

He was a legit 275 lbs of twisted steel iirc... Was many of Vince Srs. Ethnic draws back in the day.
I got 'Dangerous' Dan "The Left Hand Man" Spivey, Harley Race, and Haku as the toughest rasslers. Piper was pretty tough too won some Golden Gloves for his boxing prowess. 6 '2 , 230 lb. - never let anyone pin him.
The problem with rasslin now is no one sells anything and kayfabe is out the window.
Nothing, I like Putski.
Really?

The best of times.
Never been more disappointed in the biz than right now.
Hopefully the AEW which starts up in October (unless that changed) can rescue us long time rasslin' fans.
The WWE makes way too much of the women and everything is so damn predictable and a lot of it just plain stupid even for pro wrestling.
I have no doubts at all I could write a better show than what they have now.
Raw was excellent by all accounts. Heyman is writing it now. Imagine that...a wrestling person writes the wrestling show and it gets awesome instantly.
AEW...they're gonna keep doing some bad as well. That battle Royal they had at Fyte Fest was rotten as all and a Kenny Omega or Yong Bucks match gets ed up as soon as they do their dork that throws everything away they did in the match prior. The Haduken was bad.
AEW has already made wrestling better just by existing. It's already forced the E to make radical changes that is making the product instantly better.
Go check out Extreme Rules- not 1 bad match on that card, even the chicks. EXCELLENT show, probably the best show of the year so far until the end... and this was just a giant blow off card.
Hopefully AEW publicly executes Joey Ryan on live TV their debut show
The goty ass Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are doing this in the main events. They put a double legged amputee in their battle royal. There is A LOT of bad in with their good. And they have Chuck Taylor's twiggy ass on the roster too.
Wouldn't mind finding out the Bucks gave themselves massive tumors with all the thigh slapping they do and wouldn't mind Ryan and Taylor both falling from somewhere high with no gimmick to land on.
BUT...if you do want to see an awesome match from them, I recommend catching Dustin vs. Cody. That was great- good match, great story telling, emotional ending.
As long as Cody and Co. can keep the egos in check (has NEVER happened in wrestling ever) and build a real mainstream audience, they can do something in this. Awesome to see that they scared Vince enough for him to not even try to wait and looking to squash them as early as possible. He's already running some NXT shows against them and, objectively(only hardcore anti-WWE hipster contrarians would disagree) the WWE has a vastly superior roster in every shape, form and fashion. Give that to Heyman and watch out. SD! from 02-04 was ing awesome, the ECW PPVs he did was awesome. That and Vince doesn't have the time or energy for a war with the XFL relaunch right around the corner, too.
An excellent RAW? I have to see this, I bet we fast forward at least 60% of the show, same with Smackdown. Hopefully that excellent RAW has us at 30/40 %,
Dustin Rhodes was once upon a time the number three ranked rassler in the world according to ranking from these old magazines. Why McMahan ruined him? But he did the same thing to Dusty, made a clown out of him.
