What's your EDC, bro? Just curious. Have you ever been in a fire fight, or even close proximity to one?
You're going to justify the cowardice? For what it's worth, plenty of spineless people in this world, bruh.

    Nope.

That takes training or derring do. A gun can’t give you that all by itself.
    Copout.

    Strawmanning it up.

Cops, professional warriors and would be warriors sometimes have very good reasons not to shoot in a crowded place.

Not sure I follow you, I wasn’t there.

I don’t think I could say what I would have done if I was, even with a gun.

    Can you?

Reality is most people just want to save their own skin.

    1. Find cover.
    2. Look to pick the er off.

The 2 for many cowards is to haul ass and let women and children get slaughtered.

Not putting others in danger is a legit concern. So is saving your own skin.

It’s frankly weird that you think it’s that simple.

I can assure you it’s not that simple for trained LE, let alone good guys with guns.

Except maybe for you. You really shouldn’t thump such a weak chest so hard, it might cave n.

You're going to justify the cowardice? For what it's worth, plenty of spineless people in this world, bruh.
I'm not justifying anything. I asked you a question, which you didn't answer. I can tell you from experience though that unexpected gunfire out in public and seeing people get shot/die can do some ed up things to your head and body, so much so that I'm not going to victim shame or even shame others who did not act. Most people with a moderate amount of training should reasonably be expected to act on instinct if somebody is in front of them, or in their home, and threatening them or their families. To run towards rifle fire is something else entirety. And unless you've had combat training, or have been in those situations, it's hard to say how you'll react.

It's funny that you think you're qualified to lecture on this.

Why did that guy run from the Mall to Wal Mart? Probably cos someone stepped up.

And weak chest my ass, bro. You'd run like a cowardly .

They're already facing maximum danger, ass face. Nobody is saying to just wildly fire though; nice philo, ass face.

Fair enough; but I don't hold people with guns running from women and children being butchered in high esteem.

Also... a lot of people carry guns that are meant to be up-close-and-dirty, less than 10 yards away type firearms. Add in the adrenaline rush, your hands shaking, ears ringing... to say that you can just hide and pick him off is extremely naive. And if he was wearing electronic hearing protection (looks like he was) his hearing is going to be way better than your bare ears.

That's why you practice at the shooting range and know what your capabilities are in advance.

I never suggested that any man, armed or otherwise, run from women and children either. Getting them to safety and out of the line of fire is priority one.

I didn't suggest any such thing. You're a Whitman's Sampler of hostile inferences. There are ways to help, as Xevious just mentioned, without firing a single shot.

You put too much emphasis on your armchair bravado from 500 miles away.

Very true... but I've never been to a range where the paper targets are shooting back and there is screaming and mayhem all around. It tends to with your aim.
