Anyone can say anything on a poll.
The left's tactic in those days was to just let Rush and Falwell blather and focus on bettering the lives of working class Americans. That's the correct tactic. Let Trump, et al hang themselves by spewing white iden y politics while the left focuses on healthcare, wage growth, etc. They play into the right's hands when they start talking about white male privilege, etc because it gives the right a propaganda tool.
Anyone can say anything on a poll.
Damn, never thought about that last paragraph but you’re probably spot on
You think you are a Bunta, but you are really just the Razor's next victim.
The Internet is ironically not a healthy place for nerds. Real nerds (not the modern "nerd" that wears a classically trained NES shirt and debates Marvel Movies online), as defined by VERY socially awkward, near autistic types who have preoccupations with certain hobbies (computers, fantasy stories, anime, table top role playing games, etc).
"The left's tactic in those days was to just let Rush and Falwell blather and focus on bettering the lives of working class Americans"
W T F ? what do any one of these demagoguing, grifting assholes do about "bettering"
white male privilege?
that's iden y politics, that's racism, that non-white, non-male people deal with everyday, eg, lower pay for same job because they aren't white male, tier schools, denied opportunity because they aren't white males.
iow, white male privilege and supremacy is ING TOXIC even for white males, esp young males who think big muscles is manhood, sports is manhood, etc, etc.
Nah, I think Gates' situation was such that he'd still end up in a Ivy League school but maybe wouldn't start a transformational company.
- "Whoaaaa...smell you."
- Sam Rockwell - "The Green Mile"
I wouldn't call an ideological stance they've been preaching in colleges for decades propaganda. There is a reason white liberals are the only group with an out group preference. I'd say a few generations of this ideology being taught is a major factor.
Are you actually in favor of acts by radicalized whites like those carried out in El Paso yesterday?
Leftist politicians=/=leftist intellectuals. Dukakis, for example, didn't invoke any kind of iden y politics when he ran.
"The top echelon of staffers at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee left their jobs Monday, a shakeup following a pair of Politico stories detailing deep unease with the party’s campaign apparatus over a lack of diversity."

Seems like an accurate assessment given the fact that whites have to leave their position for being white.
This is an unreasonable response, pav.
The act by the radicalized white was an unreasonable response?
The poor thing couldn't help himself, Nathan. Another minute & his balloon knot a busted wide open.
Here's the perfect that Fox News defecates on to it viewers, and America
‘Grow the f*ck up’: Tomi Lahren gets chewed out after blaming ‘over-medication’ for trend of white shooters
Fox News host Tomi Lahren argued over the weekend that two mass shootings in Texas and Ohio had been caused by “over-medication” and “absentee parents.”
“It’s not Trump’s fault. It’s not the NRA’s fault,” Lahren wrote in a Sunday tweet
“When will our nation wake up and realize we have a
youth mental health crisis likely caused by over-medication,
absentee parents, and
a culture that glorifies infamy and notoriety above God, family and community?” Lahren asked.

Bulls eye!
50% divorce rate since WW2. You can't run from that. You can't even walk-a-way from it. That graveyard we've been whistlin' past 75 years is getting crowded.
You tell em, Cubby. That white broad isn't entirely wrong, tbh..
Afternoon, fart-face.
Trump is the end result of 40 years of right-wing radio hate-mongering
actually August 1, 1980,” said Smerconish. “How come?”
“That’s the day that Rush Limbaugh takes to the radio,” said Rosenwald.
“And people tune in, what they hear every day is calls for action.
It doesn’t make for good radio to say, hey, nuance, compromise, that stuff is boring.
But fighting, that’s good radio.
And Donald Trump captured that.”
Limbaugh, Rosenwald said, “was simply giving voice to the bedrock conservative sentiments that he had grown up with or that his audience had.
But it wasn’t like he was a puppet master who directed his audience to believe things.
His audience already believed them.”
“The motivation was to charge advertising rates which is how can we make the most money,”
“What’s the best, most engaging show that we can put on every single day?
“They were frustrated by both Bushes. They were frustrated by John Boehner and Paul Ryan,” said Rosenwald.
“These guys made promises and they got to the campaign trail and they didn’t actually deliver.
what the folks heard on the airwaves.
They heard frustration.
They heard anger.
They were afraid, hosts were saying, just to pick one issue, immigration, they were saying this is going to destroy the fabric of America.
And the end result was they were looking for someone like Donald Trump.
Someone who sounded like their favorite host.
Someone who the most important thing was punching back against the liberal elite.
Not just people on television, but in the democratic parties.
And Donald Trump gave them that.”

Trash didn't actually "deliver", either, but his low-ed, low-wage, ignorant cult mob doesn't care
Boiled down:::
Trump President.
Not Clinton.
Back to your point on mental health, it needs to be mentioned that less than a quarter of those who carry out mass shootings are diagnosed as having a mental illness. I think the point with that stat that is missed though, is do the others indeed have a problem? Does a young, unemployed, disgruntled bloke fall into the class of having a mental illness according to the DSM-IV manual? Or is he just in a 'depressed state'? Even if he has an illness, will he seek treatment if it is more readily available? Or is it an American societal problem? Obviously, I'm in complete agreement on gun control regulation.
Trump is the end result of 40 years of feminist hate mongering on college campuses across the country and the Dems deciding to incorporate that within their party.
Tell it, Nathan. Testify!!!
