Like what? Trump still has freedom of speech, and he's free to call immigrants invaders and rapists. It's definitely HIGHLY irresponsible for a public official to use that rhetoric, but not illegal. And his own limp party won't even so much as slap his hand and call him out (criticisms from the Dems are toothless obviously), so I'm not sure how you police him.

Yes. And Trump should be criticized for his words, but calling him a "Stochastic Terrorist" (as I've seen on the ters) is a little much. As bad as his rhetoric is, it doesn't call for murder or displacement of non-whites, like many alt-right ramblings, which I'm sure the shooter was immersed in.

Let's be intellectually honest here. The "Leftist" part of the shooter's manifesto can't be linked to a Leftist politician in the same way as the "Kill hispanics" part of the manifesto can be linked to Trump, because, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't recall AOC, Warren, Bernie calling CEOs "invaders, rapists, etc."
Perhaps they have. Left wing rhetoric can be similarly inflammatory with regards to demonizing the rich (i.e. "the rich are evil exploiters out to ruin your life"), , you can even twist Bible scripture to justify violence against the rich ("rich man, camel, eye of the needle, and all that") but I don't think calling for higher taxes on the rich equates to calling immigrants invaders and rapists.
The Bernie/AOC equivalent would be for them in front of a pulpit calling America's CEOs and Wealthy, "evil exploiters of the working class who will ruin your lives if it meant they could increase their profits. This sort of thing needs to be stopped. What can we do?" And then a pulpit member answered, "Shoot them." As AOC or Bernie laughed it off with a joke.
