Guilty as charged. But I'm sure HEB >>> Bill Clinton Miller BBQ too![]()
Don't really care what they do with their money, but their food is trash, tbh... I remember it being fairly decent 10-15 years ago, not sure what happened to them.
Public information bad now.
How so? Explain. This is *exactly* the same as your argument that a gun death is a gun death is a gun death. So it's fine there, but we somehow have to special case this one?
Furthermore, the people donating could've entirely prevented this by not donating the max, IIRC. There's really nobody else to blame.
Frankly, if this country has to forego transparency out of fear, then we have a much bigger problem than disclosure.

Why would he be? He's not telling anybody to attack anybody, he's spreading publicly available information. What would the charge be here, moral or otherwise?
Let's make a similar argument: you write the 2 millionth review of Mein Kampf, somebody reads it, leads to buying the book, adopts Nazi ideology, goes on a killing spree. Your fault? really?
The stupidity of this argument really is mind boggling.
You got bad taste in BBQ man. Rudy's brisket is always loaded with chewy unrendered fat and is borderline inedible whenever I have gotten it. I mean what the , who makes brisket like that?

Any other suggestions than Bill ing Miller tho? That is trash for real![]()
Bill Miller is not very good
Righties should publish lefty donors
for tat
Two Bros has really good brisket but everything else there is pretty average if it has to be in San Antonio. You have to drive a few miles out of town to Luling or Lockhart if you want the truly elite .
You're barely making sense, y'all are the ones saying donors should be protected from the social consequences of giving money to a tyrant.
What kind of social consequences? Do tell
i'd like to know too. who is funding this racism?
Scalise? "People should not be personally targeted for their political views"
What about your right wing Repug supporters "personally targeting" people because they are LGBT? female? black? brown? Muslim? Jewish?
What's the targeting score?
how many people targeted, brutalized, killed, discriminated against
by right wingnuts? number?
by left wing nuts? number?

On the negative side, The sort of derision and opprobrium that are common here, I would imagine. Call outs, mockery, shunning.
On the positive side, attaboys, fellowship and social approval. I would imagine there'd be a range of social consequences for maxing out for Trump.
Do you think max contributions should be secret?
Good . I'll have to remember that.![]()
there are some BBQ places in Lockhart and Salt Lick that Austin people visit taking rideshare to get out there.

You asked, I answered.
The best "bought" brisket in SA is from a little mexican restaurant near downtown on Fredricksburg rd. That guy does a fine job. As for Austin bbq, I find it hilarious that people stand in line for hours to get Franklin's Q when just as good is available 3 blocks away at mickletwaithe's trailer.
I wouldn't line up hours for Franklin's even if he let me his daughter with every order. Ridiculous how quickly hype can snowball. I'd much rather go to City Market in Luling and wait fifteen minutes max when it's really busy (they really move the line fast there).
Yep. Plenty of good cue in Austin.
I'm fond of City Market in Luling, it's as good or better than anything in Lockhart.
You also dodged my question to you.
Demand an answer, then run away when one is asked in return. Classic DarrinS copout.
I'd say the gold standard in the area is, in no particular order:
* City Market (Luling): Brisket, sausage, ribs all killer. Sides pretty below average. Sauce sucks IMO, but it's disrespectful to put sauce on BBQ in Texas anyways (I just put it on the bread or in the beans).
* Smitty's (Lockhart): Pretty much the same story as City Market, though it's in a building that has been their restaurant / grocery store since like 1900 so some people might get a kick out of the setting. Used to be called Kreuz Market until the family split. Now there is a restaurant in Lockhart that kept the name Kreuz Market and is run by the other half of the family and it's supposed to be every bit as good, but I haven't eaten there.
* Black's (Lockhart): Brisket and ribs are pretty killer and they have better sides than the others. Sausage is really good, though a definite step below the sausage at City Market and Smitty's.
