Good point. He was 0-5 from three in the regular season in calendar 2019 (27-17 record), and 0-1 in the playoffs. That contrasts with 7-40 in October to December 2018 (21-17 record). While correlation doesn't always imply causation, and Aldridge's improved play certainly helped, it is a plausible argument to say that DeRozan not taking threes was good for the offense. I don't know of a good way to view the team's ORtg splits by month, though.
