I'm legit asking, tbh. Yeah, some media and corrupt judges tried to sell that story, they have yet to prove anything. Macri was involved in the International scandal of the Panama Papers before getting elected back in 2015 and the biggest networks here swept that under the rug.
And regardless of that, people voted thinking about the economy.
In 2003 when the Kirchners got elected 5 % of the population was upper class, 45% was middle class and 50% was poor.
In 2015, after 12 years of "Kirchnerismo", 5,5% of the population was upper class, 78% was middle class and 16,5% was poor.
Macri, and his liberal policies, brought poverty back up to 45% in less than 4 years, with 49% of middle class and 6% of Upper class.
That was just too much of a up for media to cover up (not that they didn't try, tbh), that's why we got the results we got.
