Awful convenient for dictators and autocrats. Wonder if they try to encourage that kind of thinking in the US?

So now we have the right to politically meddle anywhere we do business with?
How very Trumpish of you, neocon
What specific "meddling" did I advocate here? Do tell.

Seems a lot of claim, and little evidence. Quite frankly I see the flags as a plea for help.

(edit)After months of speculation that Beijing might use force to intervene in protests in Hong Kong, the sight of paramilitary police massing in the Chinese border city of Shenzhen would appear to confirm the worst fears of many in the territory.
Just a few kilometres away from the Asian financial centre, the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center was packed with thousands of members of China’s People’s Armed Police (PAP) — the armed forces’ unit dedicated to crushing internal unrest — practising drills on Thursday morning.
“They arrived about a week ago because of the current chaos in Hong Kong,” said a cleaner at the sports centre who declined to give his name for fear of losing his job. “There are tens of thousands of troops inside but they aren’t letting us inside to clean, I’ve only been able to sneak a peek.”
There was no official confirmation of why the personnel were gathered there, with authorities earlier saying a previous drill by police was in preparation for the anniversary of the People’s Republic of China on October 1.
On Thursday, China’s ambassador to the UK warned that Beijing was prepared to use its full power to “quell” the demonstrations. “Should the situation in Hong Kong deteriorate further . . . the central government will not sit on its hands and watch,” Liu Xiaoming told a press conference in London.
Note what appear to be folded barracades in truck on right of picture, and that the APCs lack guns. May be set up for less-than-lethal methods. Rumors of training with water cannons is part of the preparation.
I thought it was Waco for a moment. tee, hee.
You see your hero Koresh everywhere. Perhaps a squinty version will emerge as your next hero.
Trump pissed at China cuz of trade war. CIA trying to do a coup. China big and powerful. The Chinese won't let these protesters do .
CIA isn't trying to do a coup. People give the CIA waaay too much credit.

Chinese government basically ignored them. Most Hong kongers don't even like them
What an utter failure
OP. His war plans have collapsed

Also keep in mind. Hong Kong used to be great. Even 1/3 economy of China. Now it's nothing not even a 10th of economy. China doesn't really give a about it. Mainly national pride that's all
