Love the #Milroe from Johnston.
I wonder what Georgia' s perception of the Big 12 is? We are getting closer to passing Georgia in the recruiting rankings. Of course I have to thank Georgia for being so kind as to not want to be in the Sugar bowl and gifting Texas a win.
I want to give a thank you to LSU for not wanting to be in Austin in 3 weeks and gifting Texas a win there as well. I will save that thank you for later. I will however thank them for hiring mushmouth as their coach. He is the gift that keeps on giving, just like the aggys.
I believe it was Eric who also said that the 2021 class of Milroe and company were going to big brother the 2020 class with the hype they were building in their class. Princely was once of the guys that took notice and Quentin obviously did too. He was right on point.
Anyone else think we hit our peak at #6 in the team rankings?
I don't think we take enough bodies to break the top 5 and all of those teams are probably taking bigger classes.
yes... but I also dont think it matters. This looks to be a load of talent sandwiched between the 2019 and 2021 classes.
TE Jared Wiley went down with a knee injury in today's scrimmage, per a poster from Temple on OrangeBloods.
He's hearing he could be out a few weeks, but the scan hasn't happened yet.
Is ZACHARY EVANS leaning towards Georgia? I assume Texas is out of it with Robinson in the picture?
It's feels like we've been cursed at TE for a while now.
This was from the Inside Texas commitment article written on WR Quentin Johnston.
"The staff needed one of each receiver position: a boundary, a slot, and an explosive athlete to the field. Now they just need the first two and there may be an exciting development on that front."
Johnny Wilson, please. Love how his 247 comp is Collin Johnson lol
Maybe Jaxon Smith-Njigba from Rockwall.
But with Texas' momentum right now, there's no telling who it might be.
TE Brayden Liebrock also twisted his knee, but it was called minor.
An injury is only minor when it happens to someone else.
I only just realized how highly Smith-Njigba is ranked. It would make sense since it was IT that mentioned him as a possibility, IIRC. Smith-Njigba and Bunkley-Shelton would make for one of a WR class with Johnson. Also two of the better names out there. I really, really hope Bunkley-Shelton ends up in this class.
Johnston, JSN, and LV Bunkley-Shelton would be an elite haul.
