After signing a deal with Italian team Pesaro, former San Antonio Spurs (and Austin Spurs) player, DeJuan Blair, has been suspended by FIBA for violation of their anti-doping rules.Hope he paid off that jewelry debt.According to the FIBA website, Blair has been suspended for two years for use of oxymorphone-oxycodone.

Painkillers for the bone-on-bone knee action.
I don't know this story (probably should Ace, my apologies). What happened?
Doping, literally. I thought they meant performance enhancing.
Not sure why pain killers that can be prescribed by a doctor are banned. Not like they make him bulk up like LeBron or something
Wow. Talk about not Pop’s type![]()
Thanks for the kick in 2014, DeJuan. Most important thing you ever did for the Spurs.
Why was I not surprised when I read this?
the man has no acls in either leg & he still outboards entire teams...........the man had 3 30/20 games in the nba for fooks sake............show him some respect............he bangs down low vs 7 foot 280+ pounders every game............he needed the pain medicine for carrying teams...........he has led 3 teams to ships in his career..........
sounds like a load of christmas turkey
blair would never renege on his word...........he was going through a tough time with mizz dr when you won...........ur dm probably got lost.......can u blame him for prioritizing this over a fan

That's bad. Being an opiate user is no joke. I wonder if his double knee pain is chronic now.
Blair's agent right about now:

Tough break for a good kid tbh...........
** still trying to find the image I submitted, my imageshack account is long been inactive.
iirc
it was blair as hulk
Still won’t forget how much of an ungrateful baby he was when he left the Spurs.
Thanks for the info. I remember that now that you give me some details. Too bad he never sent the jersey.
No wonder he was in such a great shape
Best picture on spurstalk ever.
Let it go
