Are former Canadian prime minister’s Mar-a-Lago Hurricane Dorian comments appropriate?

Kim Campbell, former prime minister of Canada, tweeted Thursday “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!” She was referring to Hurricane Dorian.

Since then, some people have stated that Campbell’s comments are not appropriate, describing them with words like “disgusting” and “embarrassing.”

Campbell in return has said, “Trump’s indifference to suffering is intolerable!”

Is her “snark” (her word) acceptable? Does it help her to make her point about Trump’s own behaviors, or does it simply place her at the same level, or does it simply make her a bitter heartless c*nt?

She's stating it like she sees it. She is correct in this situation.

Exactly. Not everybody lashes out at (the point of attack.) Some swallow it, then it manifests itself at the strangest times. He got her. It's something he'd say, in feigned, or true jocularity like he did with Puerto Rico, saying something about the Mayor getting a direct hit two years ago. LOL! But, it fits the old man, it's him.

This is very insightful. The first victim was Rubio who thought he could be like Trump without spending 40 years building the persona, so instead what support he had collapsed immediately for trying to do what only Trump is allowed to do. Amazing that professional and otherwise intelligent people still can't understand this after all this time.
